I got this horn because the horn in my boat went out. This horn was the perfect replacement for my boat because it is small and fit in the spot where my horn goes. This horn was also easy to connect because the wire terminals were the same for my old horn. The horn works great, sounds great and is works perfect for getting the attention of others on the lake. I really like that this horn is small and compact and fit really well into the horn cover on my boat. I also like that this horn comes with a mounting bracket which helped me get this horn into the horn hole on my boat.

So its a pretty standard motorcycle horn, and nothing special. I was hoping that this horn would be a good replacement for one of the horns on one of my motorcycle, but it is no louder than the stock horn on my 10 year old Honda. It might be a bit, meaning not much, louder than the stock horn on my 50 year old Honda. With the way people drive and don't pay attention to motorcycles on the road, I probably should install an air horn anyway. So, this horn might be a good replacement for your MC horn if it quit working, but don't expect it to be "Super" loud or you will be disappointed.
