Nice Pergola, Great value, Well packed
The seller contacted me very quickly after ordering to make sure they had all the information needed to deliver this pergola. The pergola was delivered in 4 boxes, and they are all very heavy, so I recommend being prepared for the delivery. Individual parts are easily manageable by one person, but some of the parts can be awkward to balance while assembling, and there are some steps where 2 or more people would be required, so I recommend having at least 2 people to complete the assembly. All the parts were well packed and protected for shipment. The pieces were individually wrapped in a foam-like wrap to keep them from being scratched. There were extra parts for almost everything in the kit, in case something gets dropped, lost, or broken during assembly. They do include all the needed tools for assembly, but I recommend having your own tools as the ones provided are very basic and small. The screwdriver, for example, was only a few inches long and may not offer enough grip to get the screws installed. Attaching the louvers involved 4 screws each (50 louvers = 200 screws), so I recommend a power screwdriver or drill/driver to install those. I used a battery powered drill/driver with torque limiter to prevent over tightening and it worked well. I was able to complete the assembly with one helper in about a day with frequent breaks for water due to the heat. I estimate probably about 4-5 hours overall. The overall quality of the pergola is excellent. Parts fit together well. The alignment of parts was good. I like the design and so far we are very happy with the pergola. One thing I do find a bit awkward is the zippers that connect the netting parts together, as they start from the top. I am 5'11" and I need to reach up pretty high to get the zippers to mate and begin zipping them together.

Great product, installation reasonable, shipping terrible
I installed this in my backyard and it's great. I've got no complaints about the product. Installation was a big job, but with my wife's and kids' help we got it up without too many issues. The screws strip pretty easily in the holes they've drilled, but they included quite a lot of extra screws, so it wasn't a big issue. There was a single hole that I think they failed to drill in one spot, but I don't see it causing any structural issues.I really enjoy the pergola--it looks good and makes my yard more usable in our hot climate. The biggest problem was the shipping. The company they used to ship it, CTS Transport, took forever to get here. Since it cost so much, they required a signature, so they called me a few days after the expected delivery date and we arranged to meet between 11am and 4pm. They called me around 6:30pm and asked if I was available. I wasn't, so they arranged to try again the next week, again between 11 and 4. As they didn't show up that time either, my wife stayed home from our evening plans to meet them when they called late, but they didn't call at all that day. Finally the third time (another week later) they showed up in the announced timeframe.

We are thrilled with the quality of this pergola.
Besides the overall quality of the product I was very impressed with the ease of construction and how easy it was to follow the instructions. The instructions made it very clear what parts and how many should be present. The pergola is very firm and it does keep the rain out. We are very happy we ordered this product and believe the company must take a lot of pride in quality and support. I did about 98% of the construction myself. I am 82 years old.

Good value
For the price, around $2,000 after delivery and sales tax, this is quite the bargain compared to ots competitors. The next step up in quality will run about double the price for the same size. Fits perfectly in my small backyard and as expected, keeps the area dry when raining and shady when sunny. It looks nice and was the only budget friendly dark brown option I could find. The directions were clear and assembly wasn't too difficult with 3 people. It would have been easier if we had a second ladder. Plenty of spare screws are given as well. They even gave a spare louver but I'm not sure how I'm going to dispose that.Quick tip: When installing the louvers, put a few on and test opening and closing before putting the rest on. On my first attempt, I put them backwards and didn't realize till one side was halfway done and the roof wouldn't open.I was very skeptical ordering something that costs several grand that can't easily be returnable but it worked out.

A lot of screws to stall
If you take your time, the product looks to be very well-made. I hope it lasts long time if the wind doesn’t blow it away. 😳

Easy to put together, just follow the instructions
I rarely ever write a review for a product but five stars for this patio cover. The instructions were very easy to follow. Most of the work can be done by two people but you will need a third when it comes time to erecting the post. It is open easy and easy to close. One thing that I did notice is each corner has an opening for water to run out from the bottom of the post except for the two in the middle. My patio is on a slight incline which allows the water to run towards the three lowest posts. But the one in the middle does not have an opening for the water to drain easily. I simply solved that by drilling a hole at the bottom.

Not that sturdy
The poles on this are three sided and quite unstable and relatively flimsy, we put braces against the house to stabilize but the outer side is still quite wobbly. I paid a trusted contractor friend to do the necessary work to get the site ready, as well as assembling it. The handle to turn the louvres is also not easy to manage. It’s easy to close, but opening is stiff and difficult and I wonder if the stress will cause failure somewhere in the mechanism. The hook is too small and falls out of the loop when turning almost every time , very frustrating. I am afraid this is a cheap product and I have made an expensive mistake. It looks nice though. I got the 10x 13 without curtains and with the cost of assembly and shipping it was more costly than expected
