I have used a number of types of clippers over the years, and this is very well designed. Keep in mind, this product is available in several configurations, and I believe one option has the nose hair clipper and the other has the face shaver, so keep that in mind to choose the one that has the features you want.I’m reviewing the “Panasonic Defined Trim and Shave Kit, with Beard, Hair and Body Trimmer”. The design and features are fantastic. At first, I thought the 58 adjustments would be complicated, but it’s really very simple. Depending on which guard you put on (A, B, or C), turning the dial will raise and lower the trimming blades. So, if you put on guard A, you can also turn the dial to make the shave a little closer tighter or a little longer. There’s really no need to do any math, once you know the setting you like you can probably just leave it there.The guards and the trimming blade are great. Highly effective at trimming, so take your time at first to get used to the power. I accidentally took off more than I was expecting, and that’s when I realized this is a professional quality set. The design of the guards is great, it works very well for whatever you’re trimming.The face shaving attachment works great too! Over the years, I have switched back and forth between a real razor and an electric razor. My opinion has always been that a 4-blade razor is faster than an electric razor, because I typically have to go back over with the electric; However, this electric razor has been great. I use it with shave cream and with water.One of the nice things, this can be used wet or dry. Plenty of power, great battery life so far.Regarding pricing, I think the quality is there, this appeared to me to be on the top end of pricing when compared to other products of similar nature. Overall, I really like it, I think a lot of thought went into the design making a product with interchangeable parts that works well. This is a serious mans trimming and shaving set.

The trimmer kit has a function I haven't seen before. Instead of having different sized clips for how tall you want the trim, you rotate the base, and it extends with even half sizes, which is convenient.It has enough attachments to trim taller hair and get a clean shave. I would recommend using shaving lotion or gel with this trimmer.The trimmer blade itself was strong. The rounded shaver was very smooth and gave a close and comfortable shave that was almost razor smooth. I'd recommend this trimmer and this attachment if you prefer a clean-shaven face and regularly maintain it with this attachment.It is a fast charging, slim design that is comfortable to use but only has one speed. The heads and trimmer have a detachable section to clean out the hair, but the rounded shaver can't be opened and cleaned out.The packaging comes with a lot of boxes and filler space. All the attachments fit into the small handle box once you throw out the filler pieces.Only note: If you have curly hair, it will snag and tug.

This is a nice little kit. The attachments cover everything you need for a beard/facial hair and beyond. The push button swap is easily depressed and you can switch out heads in seconds. The twist mechanism for adjusting the trim length is easy to use and does not move while trimming your beard. The trimmer is precise and produces a fine line of facial hair. The razor also works well for the after groove clean-up.The fully charged battery easily lasts through a session. It even cuts hair (head) well, though it takes a little longer than my shears. I like the compactness of the teimmer as well as the well designed components. I don't understand why this did not come with a bag or case for the pricepoint. This will really give you a clean, precise look. Very nice.

I have been cutting my own hair since the pandemic started and never stopped. I like this trimmer because it is light and there is no cord to get in the way. Because I cut my hair very short, the longest and second longest combs work perfectly for me. A single charge is plenty long for a haircut and then some.I did not test the shaver because I don't need one, but other reviews comment on this.Drawbacks are the unique charging plug, so that if I lose the cord I'll be out of luck unless the manufacturer offers replacements. Also, there is no cover for the open charging port like there is for the top of the main unit to protect it when no attachment is in place.I recommend this trimmer.

This Panasonic trimmer is a great overall trimmer. It comes with a trimmer attachment, four guide attachments and a shaver attachment. The thing that sets this trimmer/shaver apart from the rest is the dial rotation on the unit itself. It lets you control the length you want to trim your hair to by millimeters which is amazing. I wish it would come with a USB C charge part instead of the clunky charger it comes with. A storge or carrying case would have been nice as well to have some place to store the guides and unit when not in use. Overall, I am very satisfied with this trimmer and would recommend to others.
