Today I get delivery of mobil super engine oil and after uncovered it found that Top seal is broken and coupon code missing.

The seller Etrade promotes Mobil Super X1 3000 at INR 2009. The normal price is INR 2400~2500. I purchased the product hoping it to be a special offer. I was wrong. The seller was just dumping the old stock from his inventory. The packaged date is Feb, 2022. Today, on 10-March-2023, the oil is already 1 year, 1 month, +/- few days. Next time if you find a product, especially an engine oil which is sold at an unbelievable price, the cheap price could be a gimmick to sell off old stock. I am sure, an average engine oil in sealed condition has a shelf life of 3 to 4 years, therefore not returning the item as it would mean another few days gone without me using the vehicle. Also because I intend to immediately drive my car for the next 3000km I will keep what is delivered to me. But if you're someone not driving much, this old oil is not what you would want in your car engine. It would only be 'just ok' but 'not great'. You should always insist for oils not older than a few months. Also, the mechanic coupon inside the cap is missing. I don't understand how this is normal. I see few others doing the same. If seller promises and even advertises a product (a whole product) which includes a coupon, what right do they have to deliver oil minus the coupon. I want most readers to realize, that coupon could help you get a discount of anything from INR 50 to INR 1000. That's almost half of the product's value. You need not be a mechanic with licensed shop to claim this. I have in the past claimed a few coupons from castrol. I wish Amazon takes note of this. Legally, this is an issue that can be sued for. For not delivering the whole advertised product. Also for deceiving buyers by intentionally concealing the fact that the oil is old. As it doesn't take much to prove the consequence of old oil in an engine. A good legal team can dramatize the severe consequences to hold seller at fault because age of the oil is an important factor that should be mentioned in the product description. A few years ago a seller resorted to same scam practice selling Pirelli Diablo Rosso 2. tires from his old stock - how old? 4 to 5 years. Buyers always be aware.
