Q: Is it 100% pure mink oil?

It says “Genuine” Mink Oil. I have three different brands if it. None of them say 100% Mink Oil but they all are Mink Oil. This is Mink Oil. And it works.

Q: is this food safe? will it water proof leather?

It waterproofs my hunting boots but like any product meant to protect leather you will have to reapply. As for food safe I don’t know but I would not try it
