The other reviews don’t lie! This is a super sturdy and eye-catching shelf, but it did take forever to build and the instructions were mislabeled in some parts so it was tough to put together. Really glad we did though because it looks amazing in our space!

Product is what it says. Love the look, function is good. Listed size is accurate. 2 things that could improve the product.1. The instructions aren't great. They were OK, but halfway through one image changes orientation from one Pic to the next and threw me off, I had to un appealed and reassemble some steps.2. There are no holes anywhere in the cabinet to run cords through so I had to hole saw spots out and put small grommets in the unit to put a lamp on a shelf.I like everything else about it.

First, it took 4 hours to build this which is way too long. Second, the instructions were incomplete in some places and absolutely wrong in others. Third, there are some things that are frankly impossible to do according to the laws of physics - connecting things in multiple places at the same time when those connections are in two different (90 degrees) directions. Fourth, the finish isn't good. There are tons of the metal screw connectors showing. Most times, they supply some sort of sticker to cover these to help blend in. This doesn't and you see all these screws - and there are tons of them. Highly do not recommend this which is a shame because it is a visually interesting piece which is why I bought it in the first place. I bought two, but will be returning the second one because I cannot go through that process again.

BEST LOOKING BOOKSHELF I have seen online including Wafair and other home furnishing sites. There is A LOT of space width and height wise for all different stuff. Yes, there are a lot of pieces but it is worth the time. The bookshelf is very sturdy. Not trendy, cool but classic at the same time. GREAT SHELF!!’

These cheap Chinese furniture items always have terrible instructions but some of these instructions defy the laws of physics. Build quality is OK, couple corners and edges needed some stain. It looks awesome, will look cooler with lights installed. Also the instructions say not to use a "drill" but it's literally a clip art of a Mac-10 lol

It’s extremely difficult to assembly. the connection is so weak and lose, It make me worry about the safety of this item.I still not figure out how on earth I can follow the guidelines. It looks impossible to follow the guidelines.It looks good but that’s all about it. It get worst when you buy two of them stacked vertically.Might jut return it.

I had been looking for a bookcase for awhile and this one just felt right, i read the comments about it being a b**** to put together but thought “all these people obv know nothing and I will be able to do it so easily due to my superior intelligence”. Fast forward to the unboxing of my bookcase where i found 1000 pieces of hardware and 60 pieces of wood(i may be slightly exaggerating but not by much) and I started to understand why there were so many bad reviews.After starting to assemble it alone, as I am a strong independent woman, I decided to phone a friend aka my roommate heard me swearing from downstairs and came to help. After 3ish hours of us getting ahead of ourselves and having to undo some steps and the faulty manual that showed us a mirror image of some of the pieces and me accidentally stepping on a piece that slightly broke it was finally done. And oh it is a beauty. I have to say, it was worth it, just don't try building it alone.TL;DR :During the building process I was sure I would give it 0 stars, after I saw it assembled I wanted to give it 100000 stars so I compromised and gave it a 4.
