I bought this Hozelock hose to replace the hose I already had on a reel which was so difficult to use. Constantly twisting and kinking which meant it took forever to wind back on to the reel. It made using the previous hose almost impossible.This hose is the exact opposite. Easy to use, light-weight, about half the weight of the one I've replaced. No kinking or twisting and takes less than a minute to wind back onto the reel. Wish I'd known about this type of hose earlier, would have save so many angry battles with the hose reel.Perfect for anyone less mobile too due to ease of use. Hozelock have definitely proven to me why it's worth paying that little bit more. You won't regret buying this hose.

I have a four year old who loves to 'kink' the hose while I am using it, to stop the water coming out. He has been foiled by this hose! The anti-kink works great. My husband has also helpfully tested the anti-crush by moving our picnic bench onto the hose, then parking his bike on the hose - and it hasn't crushed with his efforts either, so I am so far greatly impressed with the hose.

good value, fairly lightweight, reasonably twist resistant and flexible, perhaps not totally twist proof, but good enough for my purposes.No problems, it's a hose pipe, does the job.

Good product at a good price.States it’s kink proof but isn’t really.Still a good value hose. I ended up cutting mine in half as turned out to be too long for my needs and was getting tangled up when cleaning car. I did purchase a connector though incase I need to convert back to full length.

I was fed up with my previous hose kinking when moving around the garden or washing the car. This solved that problem, never kinks or bends enough to stop water flow. Recommended

I have been using green reinforced half inch hose to run from rear to front garden but was constantly finding the hosepipe connections were either leaking or blowing the connectors off causing a flood before I got to turn off the tap. So I invested in this good quality hose pipe and hey-presto water from back to front garden with no leaks or loose connections, well worth paying a little extra and get good quality hose pipe.

Fit for my purposes of car and garden use.

This ultra flex hose was to replace a hose that I had inherited and been using for 17 years.I unwound my new hose fully, straightened it all out and began watering my garden. It is supple and easy to pull around and the quality did feel good. A hose has one purpose, and this is where it failed, three times I had to go back down the garden and find the kink stopping the flow! My old house didn't kink that often.If anyone can offer advice on how to stop hoses kinking, I'd be greatful.If I have to buy another hose I'll go to a shop and check them first.Edit: 3 years on from purchase, and I'd just realised it hasn't kinked for ages so thought I should update this review. It's been kink free for over a year. Obviously it just needed using and softening up.
