More suggestions in settings would help

I own the latest 2k/4mp wireless doorbell and the home hub, bought this to add an extra chime upstairs, ive now found this latest chime and the latest doorbell and the home hub are incompatible with each other, ive researched and people are actually using 3rd party chimes with the reolink system which i find rediculous, according to the forum this has been an issue for over a year with no fix released

I found it easy to install with the instructions relatively straightforward. Some of the settings could do with more explanations .If you are installing on more than one device I would recommend taking a photo of the QR code on the back on the door bell button. This would save you having to take it off.The results are good and as it has a micro SD card no subscription is required.

Thought this would work with my brand new Reolink video doorbell. However there are two types of bell... Counterintuitively current bells use V1 hardware (not V2) so this was returned... Fortunately some very cheap eBay chimes DO work well with V1 Reolink bells.

I had a v1 doorbell and only discovered when I received it, as others have, that this additional chime only works with v2. So I contacted Reolink through the app, pointing out that this meant they had mis-sold the original doorbell since the documentation at the time clearly stated that it would support 5 chimes. After a brief back and forth they agreed and sent me a v2 doorbell replacement. Works great!

I bought it in addition to the one supply with the doorbell to have the chime in the kitchen where it is difficult to hear the chime in the corridor. It is 10 m away with few walls between the doorbell and this chime but it works well.I didn't have any problem pairing this chime in addition to the other following the instructions.

Not compatible with v1 hardware and reolink don't make it obvious at all which version you have

Connects easy to the system, well worth it.

Im Januar 2024 habe ich eine Reolink Türklingel bestellt und montiert. Funktioniert gut. Lediglich der "Chime" ist nicht im ganzen Haus hörbar. Habe daher einen zusätzlichen Chime bestellt. Dieser Chime lässt sich allerdings nicht mit dem vorhandenen Modell koppeln, da es sich bereits um eine erweitere Version handelte. Diese Information war aber erst im nachhinein zu ermitteln und nicht bei der Bestellung. Es ist Schade, dass ein solches Unternehmen nicht in der Lage ist zusätzliche Chime für ihr Produkt bereit zustellen. Habe daher ein anders Produkt (Chime- 2Stück) erworben, die mit der Reolink-Doorbell gekoppelt werden konnten.

Produit conforme, mais incompatible avec la version précédente.Maintenant les sonnettes sont gérées directement dans l'application Android (en ce qui me concerne) ce qui est beaucoup plus pratique.

Ik had reeds een video deurbel van Reolink maar merkte dat ik deze op mijn hobbykamer op zolder niet goed hoorde. Dus deze extra chime gekocht en gekoppeld met mijn deurbel. Fluitje van een cent en nu dus ook hoorbaar op zolder.
