Q: Can I use this over oil based enamel

I wouldn't recommend it. Automotive urethane is susceptible to fisheyes from contamination and oil-based paint contains oil. The chances for success are slim. As a 30 year paint and collision tech I come across this question frequently. The tractor paint paint paint jobs sound great until you have to strip it off to put something better on it because you're tired of dealing with the lack of gloss etc. The SMR-130 is a great clear for the money and has an unbelievable gloss.

Q: How thick does it spray?

It sprays like a medium solids clear. Layed down nice and didn't die back like some of the other lower priced clears I have used. I liked it for doing a few spot multi-panel repairs and some M/C parts. It buffed nicely.

Q: How do I tint this black. What kind of paint should I use to tint

Usually works most Acrylic paint and non enamel paint, carefully follow the mixing procedure & safety guidelines.

Yes, this kit comes with the hardener (activator)
