Great way to spruce up ramen!
I occasionally indulge in a bowl of instant ramen, and am fortunate to have a local international market with a wide variety of inexpensive ramen packages to choose from. However, the small packets of dried vegetables included tend to be a bit smaller than my ideal. I purchased this product in the hopes it would pleasantly supplement my ramen guilty pleasure, and it did not disappoint. The mix I purchased contains peas, corn, carrots, cabbage, potatoes, and green onions. Rehydration instructions are printed on the plastic jar itself for easy referral. Once rehydrated, the vegetable pieces are large enough to be identifiable and have good flavor. One wouldn't mistake them for fresh or frozen, they have the texture of dehydrated vegetables, which is understandable because they are dehydrated vegetables. Fortunately this aligns very well with my expectations for improving instant ramen. In the interest of full disclosure, while this product forms the base for my current ramen vegetable add in mix, I have been also including additional dried onions, flake dehydrated vegetables from another manufacturer, and dried shiitake mushroom pieces as well. I usually add some sort of protein such as egg, beef, chicken, or shrimp while preparing. While I was expecting to receive the jar without additional packaging, the jar came inside an admittedly cute box. While I'm usually dismayed to purchase items with additional packaging, I appreciate it in this case for two reasons. One, the box supplies an dark environment for the clear plastic jar, and two, the box displays several cute cartoon cats. I'll likely use the box in some capacity once the vegetables have been eaten. For those concerned about the plastic jar, it would be simple enough to transfer most of the contents to a pint canning jar for storage, and the box is the right size to still be of use.Overall I am please with my purchase, and I plan on purchasing this product again when this jar runs out.

Really good for soups
My mother used to make soup with packed canned soup vegatables from Holland. I was unable to find them anymore so I turned to this as an option. These are great and definitely add flavor to the soup. I would recommend these for adding into any soup or stew.

Allow enough cooking time for the vegetables to fully rehydrate for best flavor and texture.
I added a cap full to my ramen water. I would recommend actually cooking the veggies a few minutes then adding your dry noodles to the boiling water because the veggies needed more time than the noodles to cook fully. Once done they were AMAZING! The cabbage was the best part! Fresh tasting and so flavorful. I will now be trying the other varieties.

Not for an addition to ramen
This vegetable blend has an overpowering taste of onion. It also may eventually "plump" up by following the instructions on the package, but using it with ramen is pointless. Definitely not what I was looking for.

Delicious
I add these to my instant ramen to feel good about myself, like I’m actually eating vegetables and am healthy. They plump up really well, but I’m giving it 4 stars as it is a little heavy on the carrots.
