So I've been dealing with plantar fascitis (heel pain). While it (hopefully) heals, I can walk but need to take breaks and, as I call it, reset my heel. I was standing around on one foot from time to time but, after a fall on a trail (stepped on a loose rock on my bad heel), I thought I'd get a cane for precautions. And what a find to get a cane that transforms into a suprisingly sturdy stool. This nature area by the river is around the corner from me. It's not the sort of place that has benches. This is perfect for a meditation by the river. The only thing I'd say in the negative is that I'm a petite person (5'4") and the cane height and seat accomodation is fine for me but I think a big and tall person would need something that would accomodate them better.

This walking cane is a great idea. We picked it up for my father-in-law who has limited mobility but is going on a cruise soon. We wanted him to have something he could use while walking around, and if need be, sit down wherever he needed to.This walking cane is aluminum so it's light weight, it has a tripod of legs to it that are adjustable and have rubber feet on them. There is a seat in the middle that clips in place, and then in the handle, with two AA batteries (not included) is a flashlight that is incredibly bright.You can unclip the seat from the frame, fold it down and lock it into place. My father-in-law tends to fall into seats using his full weight and I was concerned the first time he sat down on it. It took the weight of him coming down on it, he adjusted himself and was able to sit on it just fine. Getting up was fairly easy as well. After sitting on it, the seat was a little tough to fold away after, due to the weight being on it, but he was also able to fold it away after a minute or so.Overall, a nice walking cane, its adjustable, for height, has a tripod of legs to it, and a fold away seat. It also has a flashlight in the handle. It folds conveniently and the seat doesn't get in the way when walking around.My only concern was how tough it was to get the seat folded away again after it had been sat on. Maybe because it was new it was a little stiff, or the weight of someone on it caused it to get a little tighter. Hopefully with more use it will loosen up.

Product came shipped well. I like the versatility and a fairly comfortable seat as well as a walking assistant . Great for hiking.

I got this for days when I went shopping with my grandma. She is getting on in age and cannot stay on her feet for long periods of time. This cane gave her more stability when she is walking around, and the convenient seat is perfect! No more having to sit on the sidelines or wait in the car, she can have a seat whereever she likes! I'm about 120lbs, she's about 165lbs, and this thing really stood up so she could sit down! Love it and definitely recommending it to anyone who has trouble walking or standing for long periods of time.

The title for this item clearly stated 2 base cane's.The description said it was adjustable, it is not.Poorly constructed, screws came out on the first use.
