Great tea
My husband loves this smoky tea. It’s a strong flavor, not for everyone (in fact, don’t share a steeper; the scent lingers). Excellent quality. The tin is attractive, but did arrive pretty banged up if that’s important to you.

Not the quality I expected.
I’ve bought this tea many times before. It’s usually a delightful smokey aroma with a good bit of bergamot flavor too.This specific tin however was a disappointment. It barely has a hint of the bergamot and no smokiness at all.This product does not have a return ability, so that is $40 out the window for a dust tasting tea that’s not going to be drinkable.I tried one cup and will not use the rest of it.

Excellent Tea
Excellent tea with a good smoke flavor. My husband loves this tea and Fortnum and Mason has wonderful teas!

This was not Fortnum & Mason’s Smoky Earl Grey
It didn’t have the depth of flavor and looked very different from the Fortnum & Mason Smoky Earl Grey tea that I was introduced to at the Fortnum & Mason in London and have been buying for 30 years. The canister appeared to be opened and filled with a much finer and subpar black tea.

Tin opened, tea spilled everywhere
This product arrived a mess. The tin was opened and loose leaf went all over. It appeared to be “held” on with tape — which suggests tampering because a proper packaging is sealed.
