Simply Delicious!
I buy a lot of organic freeze dried fruit powders for adding to my super foods ground pumpkin seed smoothies and this peach one is so such a burst of deliciousness that I can't resist putting a spoonful to dissolve on my tongue instead of blending it with all the other fruits. It tastes like peach and apricot heaven! Absolutely try it if you're a peach lover like me.

Bitter Tasting like Spoiled Dehydrated Peaches
I bought this to use on top of cottage cheese for a healthy snack or light meal as I'm a diabetic. No spoilage from fresh fruit. The package I received the product tastes very bitter...like spoiled dehydrated peaches! Yucky!!

Cost prohibitive and not much flavor
This review is for Jungle Powders Organic Peach Powder 5 Ounce Bag Powdered Freeze Dried Peaches No Sugar Added Fruit Powder Peach Extracts and Flavorings for Baking Peach Juice Concentrate FlavorI love a good juicy peach and I wanted to love this freeze dried peach powder but I find it lacking in peach flavor. Upon opening the bag it smells more plastic-like than peach. I mixed 1/2 teaspoon of powder with about 2 tablespoons of vanilla ice cream and detected no peach flavor, so I added another 1/2 teaspoon. One Teaspoon is a serving size according to the package. I added 15.6 calories and no discernable flavor to my ice cream. I had high hopes for this powder but I am not so sure it isn't better just to cut up a fresh peach and put it on top of my ice cream. I will use the rest in smoothies for the vitamins, but this is not something I see adding to my regular routine. I find the price ($23.80 at the time of review) prohibitively expensive for the equivalent of 40 ounces of fresh peaches, which translates to 5 ounces of powder.I went to their website for recipes and found this one for a peach smoothie:Peach Smoothie with Freeze-Dried Peach PowderJan 11, 2024Jungle PowdersIngredients:1 cup frozen peach slices1 banana, peeled and sliced1 cup Greek yogurt1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, depending on sweetness preference)2 tablespoons freeze-dried peach powder1/2 teaspoon vanilla extractIce cubes (optional)I will note that it calls for frozen peaches on top of 2 Tablespoons of the powder. That is SIX servings of the product according to their own packaging, which states a teaspoon is one serving. It's also nearly 100 calories and nearly 14 grams of sugar. There are 35 "servings" in a package, which is not even enough to make six smoothies according to their recipe. When you break it down by cost, it is .68/teaspoon. Multiply that by six and your cost for a smoothie using their recipe is $4.08 just for the peach powder. I personally can't justify that added expense when the flavor is just not there. This product might appeal to others but is a no for me.This product is made in Estonia and comes with instructions to refrigerate after opening to avoid clumping.

Tastes great, does not mix well.
Peach powder smells and tastes wonderful, like fresh peaches as you would expect. The powder is very fine. I use in hot tea but it's very hard to mix. Dried peaches get gummy when wet. I do not think this a product issue, just a natural effect of getting it moist. That being said, it tastes wonderful in my tumeric-ginger tea and licking the peach goo off the spoon is a special kind of treat. Lol! It's a bit pricey for my budget but will use for special Me Time or Me and We Time moments. Looking forward to trying in smoothies and may experiment with it in baking.

Clumpy, did not mix well into frosting or beverage
It might be my fault that this did not mix into my tea or my smoothie at all. I imagine incorporating it with some fat is much easier, but even after blending it it remained in little clumps. I didn't have better luck with the tiny test batch of frosting I tried to make. I've used powdered fruits before with success, but not peaches, so I don't know whether to blame the peach or the product! Unfortunately since it did not work in either application, I cannot comment on the taste. The clumps in the package are large and hard, and took some doing to break up. It's almost as if the product was wet as a powder and then allowed to dry that way. When the bag is freshly opened, the smell is very peachy. The day after, however, even though I pressed the air out and sealed it as tightly as I could, there was a very distinctive lactic acid smell. This is probably natural, but it smells like emesis.
