I adopted a cat and she can’t going in my kitchen and eating stuff so I got this in the hopes it would work! Definitely the best I bought for my cats!! Love it and I can sleep in peace knowing they can’t go in there. And either can my toddler lol

We use this gate to separate our cats. Easy to use and good price.

The gate is perfect to keep even tiny kittens in a safe area. The bars are nicely placed closely. The height of the gate is perfect to keep older cats in also. It’s sturdy and easy way to install.

The hardest part was attaching the plastic anti stumble pedal to the bottom of the gate. There are NO instructions for this. I used a heat gun to soften the plastic slit and used a rubber mallet to smack it on. You need to get a top corner on first then work your way down in the middle of the pedal.

The instructions are useless--they don't explain anything and don't even mention half of the parts in the box. I basically just had to take a best guess. As such, there were parts (extra long rods, bolts, and rubber shims) in the box that don't seem like they are needed for anything, and if they are, I don't know what that is because the instructions are useless. I just ended up throwing them away. Also, this is very cheaply made. There is no cross-bar on one end, so you can't get the bolts that go against the door frame tight enough for this gate not to move on that end--tightening them just bends the vertical frame because there is no cross-bar to keep them apart and take the force of the bolts. Also, the latch broke after 5 minutes of use. I managed to make it work by installing is upside-down (so the weaker end is at least on the bottom and won't cause the gate to fall over) and by using a velcro strip instead of the latch. It barely works for my purpose so I'm keeping it because it's a hassle to return, but I will NEVER buy this piece of garbage or anything else from this company again.

Seems people forget how well cats climb and how easily they squeeze through tiny openings. This is only 4½ feet tall. My cats can manage the smooth sides well enough for a start and then over the top. Or just jump it. When a cat wants to get somewhere, sooner or later it gets there!I got this for my daughter who is getting a puppy soon. I helped her set it up and it proved easy to do and sturdy once properly in place. I suggested that it would be good for a grandchild too, but she just gave me a flat stare.

No instructions 😢, very frustratingDefinitely disappointed

Package looked like it had been a return that was re-packed and taped. Parts appeared new and all there. The instructions are not great - they don't mention what to do with the 4 nuts, the two metal brackets or the two additional bottom supports. Our opening is 35", well within the range and we had trouble figuring out what combination of which additions and posts to use. The finished product seems sturdy enough but since we have cats - the intended audience for this gate - we had to add two tension bars above to keep them in.
