This is so good! This LASTS - and DOESN'T GO BLACK with time. Lovely matt finish - it doesn't look 'laquered' - just natural and shows off the beautiful wood colour and grain. I have been told that the blackness happens due to bacteria which quite like the Teak Oil/Garden furniture products that you buy in the DIY/garden shops, and cause the black residue. I'm not sure if that's right, but the results are evident - I treated my furniture last spring, left it out all summer 22 and now in summer 23, it still looks wonderful.Teak Wonder is designed for protecting wood on yachts which are exposed to elements much worse than are found in the average garden - no wonder it works so well! It penetrates and really protects the wood so is a great investment if you have invested in some nice garden furniture that you want to keep or bring back to looking like new.My furniture is over 10 years old. had gone grey/black because I had used the other sorts of products, so I also used the Teak Wonder Cleaner and Brighter before treating, which brough the finish back to what you see in the picture.It's initially a bit more expensive than other products but not in the longer run - you don't have re-treat as often. And if you have nice furniture that you want to properly preserve, then I can't rate it more highly. Briliant stuff!

If you get enough coats on it does put a good colour and depth to your teak but it does not last at all

This item is simply superb. I had previously (and disasterously) treated my teak garden furniture with teak oil. It looked awful. Spent a few hours sanding it all back this spring and treated it with this product. I immediately looked great and continues to look great. Will definitely purchase again and highly recommend.

Bought this for my Teak garden chairs, goes on very easily and goes a long way (just as well for the price!) and turns the wood a lovely honey colour.A boatbuilder friend recommended this as teak oil attracts mildew (black spots).

One tin gave me 2 coats on an 8 seater table with a bit over to make a start on a couple of chairs. Initially a lovely deep honey colour but seems to fade very quickly. Not convinced how much protection this offers or how long it will last seems very runny. Tiny tin very expensive.

I have used this on garden furniture before and it stood up well to the weather.
