Q: Whats its shelf life?

The shelf life on this product is 2 years from date of production. We buy direct from the manufacturer so the product is a month old at this point. Since it's a pickled product in oil. It's recommended that if you store at room temperature and at minimum you keep the oil level above the Giardiniera in the container. If you decide to refrigerate you may notice the oil thickens but returns at room temp. Even after the 2 year period the product the quality of the Giardiniera will lesson. Hope this answers your concerns.

This contains peppers,carrots,cauliflower, celery and gherkins

Q: Is the gallon jar sealed?

We put a gripper seal around lid and poly bag for shipping on our Marconi gallons
