I picked up this pack of 4 ratchet hangers as they seemed ideal for hanging things to the rafters of my loft, but they could be used for a whole host of things.Each one has a fairly sturdy plastic body with metal internals that form a pulley and a ratchet for locking the pulley and preventing it from spinning backwards until the metal release lever on the side has been lifted up.At the top of the main body is a metal pin and this has a small karabiner attached for easy hanging/fixing.Running through the pulley is a nylon cord that is roughly 1.7m in length and has a small aluminium karabiner crimped onto one end.The manufacturer claims the product has a maximum load capacity of 68kg and has also included a further 8 karabiners for quick fixing and removal.***** In The Box *****4 x Ratchet Cords8 x Spare Karabiner***** Conclusion *****Each ratchet feels pretty sturdy and makes a strong click sound as you pull the cord through. I haven’t tested the 68kg capacity claim, but I have given it a good tug and couldn’t make it slip, so I don’t think it would have any problem meeting its claim.I also found it easy to release the ratchet, even when under load.There isn’t a huge amount you can say about a simple product such as these from TAIHOBO, but for £9.69, I think you are getting pretty decent value for money.

I use these in place of the 4 main ropes on my air beam tent and they are so much easier to use than the fiddly plastic snatch retainers on the factory fitted ropes. Super easy to adjust and tighten and even easier to slacken off when you are ready to pack away. They have a wide application range which will go beyond just using them for tents.
