My husband needed an oil for his new leather walking shoes - and after some research - settled upon this one.I cannot comment on the long term affect this oil will have on his shoes as he has only just started to use it as a an initial treatment.However he did put a dressing a two year old pair of boots to very good effect. The look cleaner and softer - rejuvenated in fact.He also put a dressing on some very old and dried out dog leads - the effect on these is amazing - they have taken on a supple and mellow appearance - they are beautiful.Who uses bridle leather dog leads with brass clasps these days? Well I do now.I feel able to recommend this Famaco Mink Oil after the above experience.

Really helped to soften my DMs particularly around the heel and toe, used it sparingly and didn't apply on the stitching. Great product. Smells a little bit but id rather that initial smell than my feet being ripped apart!
