I LOVE IT. I don’t know why it says it is returned often but I use mine a lot. I have had it for about 8 months and I use it for school. I have adhd and it is great for getting me started then not distracting me if I get on a roll. The batteries fit great so I think they fixed that (I did read those reviews before buying mine so I knew it was a risk) I got the green one and it is really cute and has kind of old school kids clock vibes. there is no plastic protector over the face of the clock which was my primary question and concern because I thought it mught just get dirty or break but it looks great, is easy to use, clean, and it is sturdy. I am glad there is an eco friendly option for stuff like this. I highly recommend it.

Looks nice. Alarm is quick and then done. Seems very flimsy and cheaply made.

The only thing that could improve this product is if there was a cover for the face to protect it from damage.

I bought several to deploy around the house. These are currently the budget model from Time Timer, which seems to be the only truly-silent option around. Attractive color (the red ones stress me out too much), and work great so far. I'm a careful person and don't know if they'd break in the hands of a chaotic child, but they seem sufficiently sturdy to me. And they're a reasonably large, too, which is good for viewing across the room.

Updated: Not durable enough for kids! My daughter was too rough turning the dial and it got stuck and won’t work anymore. It gets to 5 minutes left then won’t go all the way to the 0 and chime. Items past the return window and now a waste.I've been wanting a Time Timer for a while, but I did't want the plastic. This was a great find and I like that the colors are more neutral toned. It is lightweight and has little legs on the bottom to prop it up. It has the option to turn on and off the sound for when time is up. It only beeps for a couple times. My only feedback is that the dial is a bit flimsy, so be careful when moving it to the desired time interval and not press down too hard to not damage it. I would also like to see a handle option to make it easier for my daughter to move it from room to room as she needs it.

As someone with ADHD who thrives in fast paced work environments I realized I needed a better way to keep track of time when dealing with the much slower pace of working from home. Found this product and was SO glad there was an eco friendly option! I absolutely love the visualization that this timer provides plus the added benefit of having the option to be completely silent. The alarm tone is the least disruptive alarm I’ve ever heard, I just prefer the silence. I also haven’t had any issues with the sturdiness, it probably wouldn’t survive if I threw it across the room but moving it from desk to desk has been perfectly fine. Overall I absolutely love this timer and I wish I discovered this way sooner!

Overall, I do love this. It comes with options to mount and some kickstands. I've brought this with me on the go, so the kickstands could come in handy even if you decide to mount it. I used a velcro 3M strip to mount it to my wall so I'm able to quickly take it on and off if I want to take it with me even just to another room. It is probably too big for most people to want to bring with them (e.g., to a coffee shop or something), though they do have smaller versions. This is nice for indoors with how large and visual it is, and I do like the recycled-material-retro look.For sound, there's a switch to toggle if you want a sound to go off when the time runs out. It is quite loud, like a traditional kitchen timer. I've found that if my battery is low it may not go off, or may go off later. After replacing my battery, it's gone off consistently, but also has gone off twice in a row once. Not a big deal for me at the end of the day.
