Overkill unless you have a farm but impressive performance.
The KuWFi 5.8G Outdoor Point-to-Point WiFi Bridge is a strong and reliable solution for extending internet connections outdoors over long distances. This device can connect over distances up to 2 kilometres, making it ideal for linking distant buildings or areas - Although I've only had a modest garden length of 150ft. Relatively speaking, this bridge is probably overkill. The high-gain antenna helps maintain a strong and stable connection, even at the maximum range. This means fewer dropouts and better overall performance. It supports speeds up to 900Mbps, ensuring fast and efficient data transfer.Power over Ethernet (PoE) makes installation simple. You only need one cable for both power and data, reducing the need for extra wiring and making setup more straightforward. These ports allow for easy wired connections to multiple devices, like computers or network switches.Ideal for direct connections between two points, such as linking two buildings with a clear line of sight. The 5.8GHz frequency band reduces interference from other devices, ensuring a more stable connection. While the weather-resistant design means it can handle outdoor conditions without losing performance. The KuWFi 5.8G Outdoor Point-to-Point WiFi Bridge is a dependable and powerful tool for anyone needing to extend their internet outdoors over long distances. Its high speed, long range, and easy installation make it a great choice for various applications, from home use to more complex setups.Whether you need to connect buildings or set up a large outdoor network, this device offers a solid and efficient solution.

Poor LAN speed and very disappointing range.
KuWFi 5.8G Outdoor Point to Point WiFi Bridge with 12dBi Antenna 2KM Long Range Wireless Bridge, ....So, this is a neatly packaged pair of devices, contained in the box are the two Wi-Fi bridges, a pair of POE power supplies, a pair of short 1m LAN cables, a ‘quickly’ setup guide and a ‘quick’ setup guide, that’s not a typo, these two leaflets are almost the same just set out differently. Connecting the units up as per the guide is relatively easy, although the provided LAN cables are only of use to test them as they supply power and data, having just a 1m cable is extremely restrictive. These are outdoor devices so who has a 240v mains outlet halfway up a wall outside?Setup other than the default is turning into a bit of a nightmare, I have spent hours trying to figure it out, it appears I can quite easily setup the master via connecting to its Wi-Fi and accessing a Web style interface, but I cannot do the same for the slave device. From what I can gather, settings made to the master should be transferred to the slave, but I have tried to change Wi-Fi regions to be ‘legal’ and only the master will change, so I must leave it set to ‘Chinese’ region to make the connection between the two units.I have tried the setup ‘wizard’ which says it is in AP Mode but no options to change it. The guides don’t cover any of the multitude of options available and the company website doesn’t even list this model (CPE131), so I am at a loss. One thing I have noticed is the LAN connection is only 100Mbps, yet the Wi-Fi Bridge is supposed to operate at 900Mbps, so 9 times faster than you can possibly connect to it by LAN cable, that is one hell of a bottleneck!Range testing is nowhere near what it claims and barely any different to my standard Wi-Fi with an outdoor antenna. I was hoping to set this up from my shed on an allotment about 250m from my home and I could not manage a connection.I think this setup has the potential to be great, but without proper documentation it is useless. It contains different modes and so many setup options but absolutely no documentation as to what they are and what they do. Maybe you need to be an IT specialist! So, only 2 stars for this, the range is nowhere near what it is claimed to be, whilst the link speed claims to be 900Mbps, the LAN speed is choked to 100Mbps, the setup is complicated unless you are prepared to settle for the default plug and play and the supplied LAN cables are useless due to their length!

Power over Internet leads VERY short
It was not made clear that the power leads are only 1 meter. The bridge equipment is up on the side of buildings so 1meter is useless.

A brilliant piece of kit
Review from my husband:This is a decent piece of kit, like severely good. If you have, say a router, and a building that's not able to have wired internet, then this is for you as long as it's within 2k that is, like an outhouse or summerhouse that you want internet in and you want it to have a really good Wi-Fi signal or dependable access point. It's very reasonably priced and does its job admirably. I don't know about 2k but it definitely manages lots of meters and provides a strong capable wi-fi signal to a remote property or building, but it can also be used outside as it is fully waterproof to provide rock-steady internet to cameras. Each unit can support 3 wired cameras via ethernet, so it's really actually very good I have mine powering 2 outdoor cameras and they work great, can't fault it. It's easy to set up and there's no faffing around with silly wifi cameras that need to be near the router, just plug them in with a patch lead, easy! It's sooooo cheap as well...70 quid is a bargain in my opinion. 5/5

Very Effective
I've used these to extend the range down to the bottom of my garden.I placed one in the bottom end of the garage and can now get a decent signal at the bottom of the garden. For reference my garden is about 40 meters from the back of the house.Relatively easy to set up and they've done the job admirably.

Very Effective!
I used this item to solve a poor wifi signal in my kitchen area. Very easy to set up and works really well. Easily bridges from one to another. Very good for the price of the item.

Effective
I ordered this item as a solution to poor wifi signal at the top of our garden. Its fairly easy to set up but i did need to use the instructions. It seems to work well when bridging from the garden to the house but i can't vouch for longer distances. The price seems fair compared to similar products. We will be looking at getting some cameras in the future so this will really help as we can use wifi instead of using cables.
