Way do small not what I expected

Got this for my G30 with the Gen 1 B58 motor. I gotta tell you, I was so lucky to pre-emptively order this first. Then few weeks later, my car came right around 80k miles and there's a whole bunch of coolant leaks around the water pump and front side of the vehicle. I went ahead and did the whole oil filter housing and water pump refresh, then to find that the radiator has also busted at the upper return hose junction. That's also where this little hose comes into an important role for my car. My OEM coolant overflow hose has "browned' out where all the hard plastic just looks oxidized and embrittled, they are getting soon to a light yellow hue, and sure enough as I was working to remove all the connections to the radiator, this little hose cracked at the junction, and I get to replace the hose with this brand new, upgraded piece. The connecting fitting is now metal material which will never crack, it's an upgrade. The hose is made to exact spec, I have no issues installing this hose, although I did put on a little bit of high-vis grease to help with slipping the connector on and promote a better seal. But this hose is definitely an upgrade to supersede any of the OEM versions. Do your own research, the OEM did upgrade their hose to turn the plastic hose into rubber section, however the connector is still plastic and that's a big shame on the OEM's newest update. Well, this aftermarket piece is an even further upgrade since all the junctions are also now metallic. You'll never have to deal with a broken overflow hose. I truly hope whoever makes this hose to also go after all other B58 cooling hoses and make it all metal connections with high silicon rubber section. Anyway, what a great find, if you have a G30 or G12 with B58 gen 1 motor, be sure to upgrade to this before it's too late.
