High performance in a aesthetically pleasing package
This is a great cooler, my processor is always under 75 degrees c even under load and it’s pretty quiet. Also the aesthetic is quite nice, you get customizable lighting with Asus aura software and the radiator is finished off with a nice glossy finish, the top of the water block has a nice mirror finish that goes well with the rgb lighting. Definitely worth picking up.

Looks cool and works great
I had to buy it when I realized it was exactly the one I needed. Unfortunately, I had already purchased and installed one which had improper dimensions. It worked but did not allow for optimal cooling (there was insufficient/limited space within the case for one of the two supplied fans [above the DDR4]). I took a loss, but I really like the aesthetics of this one. It was easy to install, and it works great. It really compliments my build. I purchased this to use with an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-core CPU which I upgraded to from a Ryzen 7 3700X 8-core. The CPU cooler was upgraded to from a Wraith Prism. I had to tweak the UEFI BIOS settings because defaults were not optimal. I believe I have attained optimal cooling and performance (not power). I noticed a small gain in performance when it was overclocking up to 5.0GHz, but I also noticed a much higher CPU temperature which was fluctuating between 60 and 90 degrees Celsius. I disabled Precision Boost Overdrive (AI tweaker -> Precision Boost Overdrive AND Advanced -> AMD Overclocking -> Precision Boost Overdrive). I also changed the Core Ratio from "Auto" to 34. I optimized the fans. And after changing a few other settings to optimize for security, cooling and performance (not power) I found that the CPU now maintains a much more comfortable temperature than before, averaging from 35 to 55 degrees Celsius. Heat stress can be hard on a CPU and being a 16-core, I find little need for overclocking at this point in time. The 16-core and this liquid cooler have completed my build.I monitor my CPU temperature and clock speed with the software Core Temp.Skál.

Works as intended
Working at 2000 rpm and keeping the 13900k below 50C. Works great!

ROG Tax On An Otherwise High Quality AIO
This is a very solid AIO with excellent features... and a heavy ROG tax.So right out of the gate I can say two things:1. This thing performs as well as any other 240mm AIO using this pump and radiator design. Meaning, there's nothing particularly exciting about it, and you're going to get the performance you expect.2. It is expensive. Excessively so. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone trying to get the most bang for their buck. Period.Look, no one reading these reviews is here because they HATE ROG, but I can't write a review in good conscience and not mention that this AIO is way overpriced for the features you're getting. There are more competitive options with similar features at this price point.... and there are far superior options at significantly lower price points. For example, the EK-AIO 280 D-RGB is available right now for $134.99. Yes, that is a far superior cooler for a significantly lower price. Arctic's Liquid Freezer II 280 is $111.99! If all you care about is performance per dollar, then stop reading and go buy something cheaper. So, why DO WE buy these ROG products? Well, AESTHETICS, man. And boy ,this cooler has one of the absolute best-looking CPU blocks you can find. Seriously, look at this thing. It's slick, shiny, and a bit edgy. I've never been a fan of GAMER EXTREME aesthetics, but there is something pleasant and appealing about ROG's logo, and it shines through in most builds with little effort.Pros:- Cools as well as any other 240mm AIO I've ever used.- Solid materials, even if the rad feels a bit "thin"- The AIO uses the same kind of installation system for AM4 that I've seen in NZXT AIOs. AM4 bracket on the block, 4 screws on the default backplate, and 4 thumb nuts. Easy, fast, no mess installation.- Whisper quiet when the fans are at lower RPMs, mild, unintrusive hum when the fans ramp up.- Keeps my 5900x below 70c on all gaming load inside a 14.7L case (SSUPD Meshilcious) paired with an EVGA RTX 3070 XC3 Ultra.- Armoury Crate has come a LONG WAY in a short amount of time. I no longer mind using it and it has the features I need to configure my RGB. Is it the best piece of software? No. Does it suck that you have to use it? ...err, these are ROG products from Asus. Not sure how anyone could expect to NOT use their software. So no?Cons:- Overpriced. I know these prices stay the way they are because people like me keep buying these things, but the ROG tax feels heavier than ever. If you're not someone who cares about aesthetics, or don't find this specific style attractive, then leave and don't buy this thing.- The lighting on the fans is pretty bad. They don't have enough LEDs, they're not bright enough, and the available effects are so so.- Fans feel cheaply made.So why did I buy this thing despite my concern with the price? Well, aesthetics. I'm using an ROG B550I motherboard and hope to upgrade to an ROG RTX 3080Ti at some point. It works for me.

Good
Does a good job at keeping things cool. Just can't get the lighting to sync with the rest of the aura lighting.Would like to figure what or how I can but other than that works well

Pls read before you buy, if you notice a in my pics a white cord, theirs a reason for that..
OK its your reguler run of the mill water cooler..To be honest I cant tell if its even on..Now to that white cord..As you can see most of my set up is ROG..This part is not important but I am waiting for the new 3090ti to come out since its so close in case your wondering...OK back to white cord, it comes with a cord I am not really sure where it hooks on my motherboard, then to make matters worse one of the black little wires are not connected inside, so not sure if its supposed to be that way but I am assuming not wand it has 2 micro USBs at the end..Called ROG of course the gave me a little ray of hope, oh we are sorry we gave you bad wiring we will send you another one...2 hours later get a e mail saying we dont carry that part, translation The girl didnt know what I was talking about..So I came up with the idea if its micro USB I took a white cord, YEAH I WATCHED McGUYVER when I was a kid, praying to god I didnt burn up my system and bling it worked..So I got a pump that I have to plug in to an outlet to work..If it was not for the fact I bought it before covid so many months before I started my builded I would have sent it back and got me a NZT Kraken..So I am stuck with it for a little while, or unless someone wants to buy for $80 dollers lol...BTW noticed I gave it five stars for how quiet it is, thats because I cant even tell if its running or not..As far as I can tell theirs no software of any kind for this model..So after reading this and you still buy this I tip my hate to you as one of the most hard core ROG fans ever..Thank you and be safe..
