Very basic components
I have experience of RC drift cars in 1/16 scale, so had high hopes for this one. It certainly looks the part from the photos.Sadly, this is only a budget, cheap RC car underneath. There no digital proportional steering, it's literally on / off and it makes an awful noise when turning.The speed trigger works ok and there's an adjuster to limit the speed. You can also turn the lights on and off via a button.The transmitter feels really cheap plastic. Whilst it works ok, it doesn't feel as good as I'd expect it to to hold.You do get spare wheels with rubber tyres, which is a nice touch, as well as dome cones to drift around.I couldn't demonstrate that well in my video, but it does move quite fast and you should still be able to drift with a little practice.You do also need 3 x AA batteries for the transmitter, so keep that in mind.Overall, this isn't for me. That's not saying younger kids wouldn't enjoy it though.
