I was able to move and set up the telescope with ease, regardless of whether I was going to a local park or going on a camping trip. The telescope itself had a sleek and compact design, which made it simple to transport and set up. Undoubtedly, the adaptability of this telescope is one of its most notable characteristics. Through the use of a magnification range that extends from 16x to 120x, I have been able to examine a wide variety of objects, ranging from the staggering craters on the moon to the raging storms on Jupiter, as well as faraway galaxies and star clusters. Having views that are sharp and clear thanks to the multi-coated lenses has enabled me to appreciate the complex intricacies of celestial objects in a way that I have never been able to before. Particularly impressive to me was the phone adapter that was included in the package. It has enabled me to explore a whole new world of possibilities for astronomical photography. By simply affixing my smartphone to the telescope, I have been able to snap breathtaking photographs of heavenly bodies, ensuring that those enchanted moments will be there for future generations to enjoy.

And while it's been a fun intro to stargazing, there are definitely some pros and cons to consider.First off, the 70mm aperture is a good size for beginners. It lets in a decent amount of light, so we can see brighter objects like the moon and planets pretty clearly. The 400mm focal length gives a good range of magnification too, from 16X to 120X.The included finderscope is handy for lining up targets, and the diagonal lens makes viewing more comfortable, especially for kids. The Kellner eyepieces are also a nice touch - they give sharper images than the basic Huygens eyepieces you often get with entry-level scopes.One thing my kid really enjoys is hooking up their phone to take pictures through the scope. The included adapter works alright, though it can be a bit finicky to set up. Still, it's a fun feature that adds some extra engagement.The tripod is pretty sturdy for the price point, and it's adjustable which is nice. The whole kit packs up into the included bag for easy transport too, which is great for impromptu backyard stargazing sessions.Now, there are a few downsides. While the optics are decent for the price, you're not going to get Hubble-quality images here. The mount can be a bit shaky, especially at higher magnifications, so keeping the view steady can be tricky.Also, while the scope is advertised as being great for terrestrial viewing too, we found it works much better for astronomical objects. Trying to focus on earthbound targets was often a bit of a struggle.Lastly, as with any telescope, there's a bit of a learning curve. Aligning the finderscope, focusing, and tracking objects takes some practice. But that's part of the fun of learning!Overall, I'd say this is a solid choice for beginners looking to dip their toes into astronomy. It's not the fanciest scope out there, but it provides good value for the price. Just keep your expectations realistic, be prepared for a bit of a learning process, and you'll have plenty of fun exploring the night sky!

Arrived in good condition. I enjoy it. It's a little hard to learn for me because it didn't come with sky maps or pointers.

Light weight, easy to assemble, only took me 2 mins to get it done. Easy to adjust focus, image quality is great, way better than a telescope I had before. With the 25mm one and the Barlow 3X lens we can clear see the craters on the moon. My kids also love this and have played this for weeks. If you're looking for a telescope for beginners, or a gift for kids, I bet this is one of the best choice with attractive price!

Finderscope isn’t accurate,

Thought it’d be a good starter. It’s not. It doesn’t work well. You can’t see much. Attaching it to your phone is a huge hassle and then doesn’t even work well either. I wish I hadn’t wasted the money.
