Almost regret buying this as you see everything you can’t see with the naked eye! Shine it on the lights switches and you realise how much they need cleaning. Works very well though. We use it to give instant glow to the kids glow in the dark stuff.

I don't know a huge amount about UV lighting but reading reviews of some other products indicated they might've been either fake purple-coloured lights, or the incorrect wavelength to be useful in domestic situations.This one seems like the real deal. In our bathroom without the light on it showed ... well, quite the mess! Human urine will fluoresce, so you can see how well or badly you've cleaned the loo, for example.I actually bought it to help me track down pesky slug trails near some doors. Alas, it transpires these do not fluoresce. So, a bright ordinary torch is the best plan for those.But there is a warning here. If you're a clean freak then I would not really advise one of these because it'll trigger you. Dust fluoresces, for example. Human secretions do. Running it over the carpet in the dark showed all the places that our cat had thrown-up, even though these are invisible in normal light. As for running it over our kitchen... Well, I considered just burning it down, quite frankly.

Bought this to track down the source of an odour from the dog, which it did. Then proceeded to wander around my 'clean' home....I never knew human urine could reach such heights....the toilet was clean, the walls not so much 😂😂.Spending the rest of the day cleaning 😳Only thing which stopped me giving 5...I can't turn the torch off and have to take the battery out, annoying but still love itHaven't graded the battery life as I only received it today.

Yeah so my cat got mad at us for daring to have strangers in his home, and he retaliated in our lounge.This flashlight has been a godsend at making sure I 1) got rid of the offending result and 2) spot checks to make sure he hasn't done it anywhere else in the house.I've owned it for several months now, and haven't needed to charge it, so good battery life.

We use this torch in dentistry to investigate composite fillings and remove attachments. Super useful thing to have on board!

This is a very bright UV torch, with clear instructions for the battery fitting. It shows up some stains that you can’t see with the naked eye. However I bought it specifically for accurately locating areas where a Tom cat had been spraying & it doesn’t seem to do that (I’ve got a wildlife camera that captured a Tom in action but when I shone the light around that wall next day, nothing showed up). Maybe it only works for urine not Tom cat pheromone????

Got this cause my uv light broken after 35 years of use. it is compact and works good, I wish it was a bit brighter.
