This magnifying desk lamp is really great, actually it is better than I expected. It is not heavy, yet it has an amazing stability, and nice quality. It could have had a longer neck acording to my taste and need, but maybe it would not have had so great stability, so leave it like that. The light is ajustable from nice dim to quite a bright reading light and you can chose either warm and cold light. Not to forget the magnifying glas makes it easy to see even a splinter in your finger and to read the many small prints that are meant for you not to read, also great for fine art projects or sewing. I think this lamp is fabulous and I am super glad I chose this one, being so many to chose between. Another plus on the scale is that it can be plugged in to 220v and 12v (usb), which is another reason I chose this one. Highly recommended.

This is easy to assemble. I like the different light sources. The magnifying lens is good. I'm able to use it pretty easily, out of the box. It, of course has a limited focal length. It should prove to have multiple uses I like this product. It's fairly heavy. The base seems to be sturdy.

Works great! It's perfect for my needs and sits right on my desk for whenever I need it. Seems to be made really well, too.

Magnification is great The brightness was great, but I never could get it situated so that I could use the diamond art drill pin without the lamp being in my way so I ordered a different one that’s jointed and three areas and it works much better

My husband is a builder so he gets lots of splinters. This magnifying glass gives nice bright light and great magnification. It really helps him find and remove any splinters in his hands.

OK here are a few things you should know about this. You can buy it here on Amazon for $35.99 and under depending on the sale price or you can go to your local craft store and pay up to $200.00 for something very similar. I got mine here! I got mine because I just started doing Diamond art projects and the Magnifying glass with it's light is extremely helpful in finding these very small dots on the canvas's. The goose neck is flexible and easy to bend allowing me to move it around my projects with ease. The fact that you increase or decrease the light is also a bonus.
