Arrived well packaged.A nice weight unloaded and a nice diameter sticky grip.Nicely milled including the screw collars but where they become less than premium is the plastic collar inserts. If you get one that’s melted then it will fall out. For such a well-made product to fail on such a trivial quality control issue it’s disappointing.Amonax could make these a guaranteed 5* just by improved staff training and discarding a faulty plastic inserts as they can’t cost more than 5 pence each.Edit: After my review pointing out that I had a slight issue, Amonax contacted me off of the own back and resolved the problem immediately.Excellent customer service and my product is now in pristine condition so I’ve adjusted my rating to reflect this.Very impressed and more than happy to recommend and will be buying additional products from them in due course.

The dumbbells appear fine, however one of the 4 plastic inserts has a deformity (clearly been melted, u like the other 3). Tried for 20mins to contact seller to see if they could send the very small cheap part, rather than leave a bad review or exchange the whole thing. I really can't be bothered to return it all for a plastic inserts that may or may not do its job. Seems like this is the only way tho.Dumbells themselves seem fine after first use.

Bought these expecting longevity based on previous reviews - but after a while of use the plastic inside has cracked and they are no longer safe to use. However, I contacted Amonax and they replaced the product free of charge. Extremely good customer service

Great product, very good quality for the price. Exactly as described.

Such a shame. They felt good out the box but within a couple of sessions the handgrip started to crumple and now they are unusable and dangerous as the plates can slip and squeeze your hand mid workout. I've also got sores on hands from using them with the sharded, twisted plastic until they finally went completely. Waste of money go buy York instead

I like the bars generally and I was apprehensive about the strength in of the plastic handles. Sure enough these just snapped off within about 2 weeks. So now the weights just slide over the handles, making them pretty useless.Disappointing really, these were a bit more expensive than the completely metal bars I was going to get previously.
