Not a toy
This scooter impressed me a lot. It does not look, feel, or act like a toy. It is more like a vehicle you stand on. The build and quality seem to be solid. It is bigger and heavier than any other type of scooters I have, both normal and electric. The wheels are big enough to go up the high edge of the driveway from the road. I could not do that with my other scooters. The tires actually require air and are not just solid rubber. Very little assembly require and it was very easy with the tool they provided. You do need to charge it before you can power it on for the first time. Most of the features are on the device control panel, but others do require the APP. It has front and rear lights, a bell, left turn/right turn signal, and reflectors to provide extra safety. The ride is smooth and quiet for the most part.I like the hand brake system that is like most bikes. You don’t really need to use it to slow down due to the resistance of the motor that slow you down quite fast. Just need to use it to come to a complete stop if you need to stop fast. You have to be moving for the accelerator to engage. It will not start automatically for you. The accelerator is like a wheel on the handle bar and you have to use your thumb and index finger to turn it. There are different modes you can set this to which lowers the max speed. Very useful for beginners to start slow. The App seems to work well enough for some additional features such as the lock and cruise control. Only through the App will you see the battery percentage. On the scooter itself, it looks like it splits it to 20% segments. If you lock it, you cannot use the scooter. It will resist rolling. Of course, someone can always pick it up and carry it away, but they would not be able to use it. I am glad they have this feature. The cruise control feature allows you to maintain a speed without having to hold the throttle down. You have to go at the same seed for a several seconds before it will engage. The kickstand seems solid and works well. I am able to use my foot to lower and raise it.

Horrible product and company
Scooter stopped working correctly after 4 months. Loses power as you are riding. Scooter initially was going 20 mph then would not go more than 13 mph. Also only 3 mph up hill. The company has the worse customer service ever. They refuse to repair or replace the scooter. They should not be allowed to sell their products on amazon. They should be banned. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS SCOOTER OR ANY PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Everything great but a couple things
Throttle shape is bummer. No thumb trigger so you always have to twist with your whole hand and each over. Such a bummer but I can modify this somehow. The brakes are totally unadjustable as far as location on handle bar. Position it comes in is uncomfortable for my wrist and too close to the edge of the bars. I want to move them in so I can just use 1 or 2 fingers to break but instead it's hard not to use all 4.Range might seem a little short. I'll go like 2 miles and eat up 15 percent or more but it is a little hilly. Regen braking is cool but I can't tell how much it is charging when it is active. Would be nice to see.Turn signals in the way of where you want to grip handlebars.

Total Blast to ride BUT…update: Dead scooter
The media could not be loaded. Really nice e-scooter for someone not looking to spend alot of money.Scooter:- Build quality is very good, the welds, the paint, super clean techie look.- The shocks and air inflated real rubber tires provided a good grip for a smooth and stable ride.- Rubber top deck is comfortable even with bare feet.Performance:- There’s “D” and “S” (Drive, Sport mode), max speed I was able to get was ~14mph?- Doesn’t appear to have a way to change speed mode on the fly or via LED display?- Seemed to have plenty torque to climb a fairly steep incline, but ran pretty slow.- Battery life seemed good was able to go ~4mi with 66% battery left.Safety:- Built in turn signals and brake light, headlight is also built it, all controlled on the handlebar. Mechanical horn included.- Left hand brake only which controls both front and rear, it does have decent stopping power but sounds loud/grinding.- LED display isn’t very visible and hard to read during daylight.- Rear brake light blinks when applied, clearly visible during day or night.- Front and rear side reflectors, perfect for night rides.Setup:- Instruction manual is included which has alot of pages but quite useless to be honest(language barrier)? Some instructions don’t make sense?- Initial setup aka activate battery was a failure for me? Thought I was charging but found out hours later it was not charging?- Downloading the app and “binding” it to scooter process was confusing multiple QR code to scan etc but eventually got it working.Yadea app:- The app is terrible. Not intuitive and missing information.- Odometer cannot be reset and only shows total miles. There doesn’t appear to be a trip odometer?- Description says there’s a navigation map? I could not find one.- While riding the “Quick control” icons would disappear, I’d have to close app and re-open?- Link to tutorial doesn’t exist- Help link goes to Chinese writing which isn’t clickable?Portability:- While the scooter advertises ~40lbs, folding the scooter does make it easier to manage but still way too heavy and bulky (handlebars stick out) to be carrying on public transportation. Even putting in my cars trunk took up a good amount of space!Couple pointers: Do not activate “one click unlock” if your phone will not always be with you (loaning to friend) you’ll find your scooter will automatically shutdown once a certain distance is reached. Took me a while to figure out why my scooter would turn off all of a sudden. Instruction manual not good at explaining this feature.Note: turning on and twisting throttle grip will not activate the scooter, you must initially push the scooter forward before it will activate and move forward. I thought my scooter was defective at first until I finally figured it out? Again manual not clear? Btw after a while of riding & twisting the orange grip (hard plastic not soft) my grip between index/thumb started to get irritated.Overall the scooter itself is really nice looking, very techie and has an almost minimalist look. Build quality doesn’t feel cheap, it is heavy duty. But the app is horrendous, now if the LED display could be used more instead of the app then the experience would be much more enjoyable.
