I’ve been using the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 for a week now, and here’s my detailed review after purchasing it from Amazon.PerformancePowered by the 14th Gen Intel Core i9 processor, this laptop is a performance beast. Definitely gives off the look of a premium high end durable gaming laptop. The design has a very clean finish and the addition of RGB logo is a nice touch.Having GTX 4060 and i7 14th Gen combination works flawlessly with very moderate heat, that can easily run some of most intense GPU applications.Only piece of advice, don’t expect a long battery backup as the GPU and other components eats up the power like anything. Max. Battery backup can be around 4-5 hrs with decent usage and 3-4 hrs on GPU intensive apps.Overall good for money!

Don't buy it. Avoid acer at all costs. Their predator sense software is the one and only software that will let you control the system performance and that app is the most buggy app I've ever seen in my entire life. It defaults to "balanced" mode and even Acer customer service guys couldn't figure out how to get it to turbo mode when AC power is connected. The app bugs out and refuses to let you go to turbo mode. You can't delete the app completely without formatting the system. This happens when you use the laptop with external display.Moreover, the i9 in this laptop was severely underperforming even when i somehow managed to get it to turbo mode. The 4070 too was performing only 12% better than a 4060 on an Asus Strix G16. It also gets insanely loud when the fans are spinning at max RPM. The fan curve tuning (which can't be adjusted as 3rd party fan control softwares just straight up refused to work) was really bad and the fans kept whirring up and down really fast.I was skeptical about Acer, and aparently my skepticism was more than justified.i was able to return tha laptop and amazon gave me a full refund. I'm very thankful. By the way, if you go through the photos and videos shared by others on amazon, you'll notice that the mode switching button is always blue. That means that the laptop is in the "balanced" mode. The button should glow purple when in turbo mode.

Previously owned helios 300. Now this modelGreat overall price value. Ram is 5600 MT/S single channel which works very fine and is good for future upgrade.Gaming is wonderful. 4070 works perfect. Limit 30fps when on battery mode, it can be changed in geforce studio. Price is too high. That's why flagship model.Lacks MS office tho.i9 14900HX and 4060 will work fine but they don't make it till now. They have an i7 4060 variant. But the problem was screen refresh rate 240 Hz in this and 165Hz in 4060 variant.

Bought this at 1.21l , which about 10-15k cheaper than legion 5i. Compared to legion build quality is better than ti but worse than 5 pro. Cooling is best in the segment. Display is not bad but also not good. Performance is very good. The predator sense software is quite bad and other than the fan control pretty useless. The keyboard lacks a lot of impotant features like display off, sleep, rgb controls etc. The weight of the laptop itself doesnt feel that heavy but the charger is big and extremely fat and heavy. Battery lofe is incredibly bad but thats a problem with all intel 14 gen hx processors so cant blame acer for it. Overal 8.5 out of 10 , lot of small not so important things which it doesnt have makes the convinience and ease of use factor a little low.

The media could not be loaded. No problem with this laptop. Build quality is owswem.

10/10 would recommend of you can grab it around 1.5L after offers the display and specs are amazing.
