I love this thing. Build quality is fantastic. I've been wanting one forever as I work on my cars' ac systems frequently as well as several residential air conditioners. Put your cylinder of refrigerant on the scale then zero it out. as you release the refrigerant, the scale counts down in just about any unit of measure you could want to give you a precise charge. It's also come in handy for measuring out dry chemicals for swimming pool maintenance. Also great for measuring out fertilizer and preemergent granules for landscape maintenance. I love that you can place a bucket on the scale, zero it out, then pour in whatever you want to weigh. The scale itself has a STEEL, not plastic, body and a thick coat of protective paint. I love this thing.

Replacing several top of the line scales that just don’t work when I need them. So far, this one turns on and works when I need it.

Worked good. Doesn't count in oz so I used Google to convert to pounds. Got job done. Used with 410a for a heat pump recharge.

I'm an older seasoned automotive technician, I'm reviewing this product based on my many years of experience in the field using high quality tools, and equipment. Ordered this electronic freon scale to replace our old one in the shop. Kit comes in a plastic storage case, unfortunately the case uses a plastic folding hinge that will not last versus a pinned hinge that will last a long time. The scale is robust and appears to be of reasonable quality. Unit appears to be accurate as this point, we'll see how it holds up over time and use. Unit needs a 9V battery that is not included. An instruction sheet is included, but it leaves a lot to be desired as there is very little information. Handheld monitor that sets up with whatever weight designation you prefer, oz, lbs, and so on. Price point is considered reasonable for this item.
