I absolutely love this tiller. For the size, it was a great surprise. Easy to follow instructions, quick to put together, and lite weight. This little power house, really digs in , doesn't bog down. If it has trouble going forward, wait till you pull it backwards! It really busted the ground, and left some really soft dirt for planting my vegetable garden. Definitely recommend.

Works very well and built tough. I used it on clay soil with a lot of rocks and roots. I appreciate the 12 amp motor. Tines appear to be extremely strong--nothing seems to bend them. I'm tilled up a new lawn area in a few hours, and that would have taken multiple days by hand.Read the instructions carefully, including the safety precautions. There is a good shield between the motor and the tines, but this sends a lot of debris into the air, so you definitely need good eye protection. Keeping the extension cord away from the moving tines was a challenge even though the power cable is led high up on the handle. The tiller bounces around quite a lot, so make sure to release the power trigger if the time get anywhere near the extension cord. Also, get a brightly colored extension cord that's easy to see. I ended up replacing my extension cord, and I was lucky not to get a bad shock. Also, make sure to disconnect the extension cord if you need to clear away twisted vines and roots like I did quite a lot. The combination of safety button and power trigger looks good to me, but I don't want to find out how a freak accident could nonetheless power on the tiller while i have my fingers in the tines. I'm not a safety expert, and this is not a comprehensive list of precautions, I'm just pointing out how some of the safety precautions appear particularly important from my limited experience with the device. Read all the precautions in the manual!The is my first electric tiller, so I can't really compare it to others. I think the safety concerns are common to any corded electric tiller. There weren't that many in this price range with a 12 amp motor, which was my reason for picking this model. I don't know how a 10.5 amp motor would have worked in my soil, but I had no power issues with this model's 12 amp.

Tough little tiller, light weight, easy to assemble.

Excellent product, easy to use, works like a charm! I purchased to till my flower garden, this till went to work and I finished in about 20 minutes what usually took me 4 hours to do by hand. I am looking forward to using this all summer!
