Perfect Notebook!
This notebook is the perfect size, the paper is thick and takes the ink from my pen perfectly! I can easily use both sides of the page to write on as the ink has no bleed through and it doesn't cause it to form drips or dabs. I love it!

Nice notebook.
This is a really good little notebook. Good size, good amount of pages that seem to be good quality. Seems well made and pretty sturdy.

Tree of Life ledger A+
Very nice notebook/journal/ledger. Pages are thick enough that the ink doesn't bleed through. Love the little pocket inside for stuff.

Not highest quality, but will be a decent journal.
The embossed tree on the front cover is lovely and the lines are sharp and crisp. The overall design of the notebook isn't great, but it will serve me well as an at home journal as long as I am careful with it.The Pros:1. Lovely cover embossing, the cover is a nice rich color and does look like leather although it does not smell like it. Could be composite leather.2. The paper is nice and thick enough to not bleed through. It's not even easy to see black gel ink on the back side of the paper.3. It has 2 pockets. One on the inside of the front cover that is good for slips of paper and one on the back inside cover that is slightly expandable. The sides of the expandable pocket are made from ribbon, so won't tear easily.4. It has a large number of pages (150sheets/300pages) and should last most of a year. I like they are not pre-numbered, but there is a place to put the date and page number.5. The covers front and back are covered with the leather-like stuff and are quite sturdy.6. It lies flat beautifully and more importantly to me, it folds back completely 180 degrees, so I can write easily on the back of each page. The Cons:1. I purchased this one because all the reviews were good, but alas this notebook arrived in one of the plastic shipping bags and the binding is badly bent. I was able to fix it, but kinda disappointing, since I saw that complaint on many of the other similar journals.2. The covers are exactly the same size as the paper, but they have rounded corners and the paper has square corners, so the corners of the paper stick out beyond the cover, and the front edge of the paper bows out further than the covers because of the round shape of the binding. Wouldn't be great for carrying about in a backpack or briefcase as getting it in and out would damage the edges of the paper.3. The back pocket would be excellent if the whole thing was made of the same type of stiff cloth as the pleated sides. As it is, the main part is paper and likely won't last long if you store anything in there that you need to get in and out often.4. While the covers are nicely upholstered in the 'leather' the holes round where the binding goes through are not folded over at all. They look like they were punched after the 'leather' was applied. This is the place where the most wear and tear will occur when the notebook is opened and closed and will probably fray rapidly. However, they are square holes so don't touch the binding wires as much as they would if they were round.Final Evaluation: I used to get a 6"x9" notebook for journaling that had a lot of sheets. Now it seems you have to purchase a journal to get more than 80 sheets in this size, so I tried this one. I LOVE the size. This is not a high quality notebook for several reasons, but it is worth the price charged for it. Over all, I'm pleased with this purchase and am looking forward to recording my thoughts here.
