Saved my Sharp DAT
The gumstick NiCad batteries for the Sharp RX-P1 portable DAT recorder are no longer available, so this machine sat unused for 20+ years.These Nimh cells are a bit thin, so needed to be spaced with 3D printed shims in order to line up with the DAT battery contacts. Battery life is a whopping 300% of that provided by the original NiCad cells. The batteries charge in the machine.

Perfect replacement
My ancient Sony CD player was dead, no, really dead. The charger was dead too. Well, a little love and some wall juice with this battery revived the dead. Amazing!
