Love these espresso pods, great quality, solid price

I’m a Kimbo devo as I visit my family in Italy, annually, and of course that’s all they drink and as a result, that’s what I drink when abroad. To put in perspective, my bro sends my entire family bricks of Kimbo ground espresso from Naples every six months. I was ecstatic they stared making Nespresso pods (stateside!) and have been ordering them regularly for a few months now. The flavor is robust and not at all stale due to packaging & shipping. I have recommended this product to all of my friends and colleagues with a Nespresso machine and everyone always sends me a thank you text for introducing them to the brand.I go through four pods a day during covid (since I’m not in the office), so the pricing (half the price!!) is especially attractive vs the Nespresso brand given the uptick of product I consume at home.

The coffee is good, but not as full body as I wanted and ordered it is different from my previous purchase. This time the color of the capsules are gold, last time they were grey. I liked grey better and I did not get an explanation of why the difference, I suspect that the grey capsules are "intenso" and this is what I ordered but this order with gold capsules is a milder flavor.

Fair price, fast shipping, Kimbo makes a fine coffee. But beware that the packs I received have an expiration date of February 2025. I purchased them in November 2024 so this seems less than ideal…

I love my coffee and the Kimbo brand is a favorite. I use their ground coffee daily in my mocha pot. Just recently discovered these capsules for my Nespresso machine at work. They're the best tasting from a manufacturer outside of Nespresso that I've found. Though you don't quite get the crema at the top of your cup like you would with the capsules made by Nespresso, it still produces a rich, flavorful cup of real Italian coffee.
