PreSonusEris Studio 8 8-inch 2-Way Active Studio Monitors with EBM Waveguide

I have been enjoying these near-field studio monitors. I mix with Sennheiser HD 600 headphones because my space isn't sound-treated. Still, it's nice to listen to my music with these speakers -- especially once I added the PreSonus Eris Pro Sub 10 10-inch Powered Studio Subwoofer. (The subwoofer makes a huge difference.)

I have owned 3 of these speakers, my usage is a bit of a hostile environment. The sound is great for the pricing. I have no complaints with the Presonus Eris 8" speaker and I will happily change this to a 5 star review if I get acknowledgement that the shipping issue has been resolved.This is a public warning: I ordered the 8" Eris and received a 5" speaker instead. This was an order sold and shipped by Amazon. I contacted customer service and after 3 agents and a supervisor, a replacement was sent out. That 8" speaker was also a 5" speaker as it was clearly marked on 4 sides of the box. So, there's something going on with the fulfillment on at least the Eris 8" as of the date of this review. The product continues to be listed on the site and it is unclear if Amazon is even able to sell the 8". If they are, I have no evidence of it. I returned both of them and ordered from someone else. Mistakes happen but I haven't been able to get Amazon to acknowledge there is a problem in the fulfillment of this item at this time. Buyer be aware that multiple RMAs might be required and you may or may not ever get the product you ordered.I am not going to make an alternative product suggestion as the product itself is great in terms of sound quality and value.I will change this or remove this review if I hear the issue has been resolved from Amazon.

The PreSonus Eris Studio 8 speakers deliver outstanding performance once they are properly positioned. Although the 8-inch size may be somewhat bulky for a desk setup, placing them on speaker stands significantly enhances the sound quality. I find that there is no need for an additional subwoofer, as these monitors provide ample bass. For casual listening, I prefer to slightly adjust the equalizer rather than using a flat sound profile, which enriches the listening experience. These 2-way active studio monitors are excellent for both enjoyment and critical listening.

Super impressed for the price that I bought a second set. The quality and bang for your buck cannot be understated. The amplifiers are powerful and clear, the sound is fantastic and open with good bass response, the clarity and focus was surprisingly good and the wider listening experience put a smile on my face. I leave the eq in the back flat for everything and these do the trick for my studio.
