Great little sub. Much more powerful than it looks.
Very happy with this item, as with all Presonus equipment. I have used this with various Presonus interfaces and monitors and it's a game changer. Fantastic for music production, listening, gaming, and videos. It definitely upgrades your system. Using it to play and record bass has also been a big improvement in helping to find those final levels you need to keep in check.

Great punch for the size and price!
Pleasantly surprised at the quality of the sub's deep bass. Its perfect for a home studio and it has plenty of bass, solid construction and a breeze to install. I would buy this again.

Game changing sub!
If you want to add that extra bass that your speakers are missing, this is the sub to get! I've been using the PreSonus Eris 5BT Bluetooth Studio Monitors for about the last seven months with my Audio-Technica record player and while they sound nice, I knew I wanted to add this sub and waited patiently for it to go on sale. It finally did and am so glad I added it to my setup!! Even at a regular price, this sub would be worth buying. It has A LOT more bass than I was thinking it was going to produce and it fills my home office/music room with a ton of sound! I find myself actually turning the bass down to a lower volume level because there is so much of it. In my experience, running the audio through the sub first and then into the speakers makes the sub basically a crossover system where it sends the bass into the sub...and the mids and highs into the speakers. If you have some of the PreSonus speakers without a sub, you gotta add this to your setup and get the full experience of what they all can do for sound quality!

Works as advertised. Bluetooth is really useful!
I have been using small coaxial studio monitors in my little project studio for years. They sound wonderful, have a lot of bass but can only get so loud. They are also a little long in the tooth, so I wanted a subwoofer to take the low frequencies off their workload and pulled the trigger on this PreSonus as the price and feature set was right. Several months into owning and using it, I can say it works beautifully! You have to take a little time balancing the volume and the crossover frequency as you would when pairing any other subwoofer with a set of speakers that it wasn't designed specifically for, but when you get it right, you get a very smooth transition and it just gave my old beloved monitors a new lease on life.I wanted to write this in response to the reviews trashing this subwoofer saying it is under-powered. My *guess* is that those reviews might have been written by people who do EDM or hiphop productions or the like and they are overpowering a small subwoofer with over-emphasized bass frequencies. I mean, if that's what you're into go get a bigger subwoofer. I like smooth, accurate EQs, and this provides well on a budget. My $0.02.

Does NOT do the trick
Save your money for something with more definition. I feel like this subwoofer would never be sold in any HiFi or even decent audio store. I don’t know what people hear when they say this sub has “tight” bass but I don’t think they know what they are talking about either. This sub just seems inaccurate when it comes to sun bass frequencies. Like, no matter what you do you just can’t get it to punch it just gives flabby, loose, undefined and it most certainly is NOT enough to pressurize even a small studio apartment. This active subwoofer just barely lets you know that there are indeed sub frequencies in the track you’re listening to and then it leaves you wanting all that good feeling you know you would be getting with a better sub. There is also no output volume like some subs control so hooking up a pair of monitors straight out of this gets crazy loud crazy fast. I wish I would have made up my mind sooner and sent this thing back while I had the chance. Another Craigslist post or guitar center trade in I guess.
