Pacsafe GO 25L Anti Theft Backpack, Jet Black

I needed a larger backpack so looked at the Pacsafe brand like my smaller 15 L one. It’s a new design and color and both work well. I like to be able to put my smaller purse into my backpack to make air travel easier. There is an outside zipper compartment great for smaller items: charging cables, hand wipes, snacks. I carried my iPad, book, magazines, jacket and purse without it being stuffed. I love it!

I purchased this backpack for a trip to Paris! I had heard that there were some security concerns with pick pockets in the metro stations and I wanted a backpack that would protect my passport and other belongings. This backpack worked great! East to keep things organized in it. I saw some concerns about the side pockets but I was able to store 2 water bottles (one on each side) with no problems. Highly recommend!

Large main section perfect for valuables on board planes; no wasted space without multiple predefined interior storage zones; simple to secure main section with a padlock which stays hidden in an outside side pocket; hidden zippered section against wearer's back a smart idea; can be placed over a luggege handle with integrated strap; zippered section on outside good for easy to grab items without unlocking main section; good colors as does not look like a PacSafe.

This is a very nice looking backpack. It is spacious and well made, has a padded laptop pocket and several other pockets in ingenious places. Importantly for me, it has a large space in the main part of the bag. I intended to use this as one of my carry ons, and I prefer a large main pocket to one that is divided up into small pockets. It is squishy so it will fit under the seat in most aircraft if it is not completely stuffed, otherwise it fits easily in the overhead. I ordered it primarily for the anti theft features because I am travelling to a place that has pickpockets (bitter experience). One of the style features is long, bright yellow zipper pulls that show thieves exactly how to get into your pack. The zipper locking system is a plastic hook that is very fussy to use. I don't expect or need super security, just deterrence from opportunistic thefts, but Travelon does a better job of that. Had theft not been a concern, I would definitely choose this bag because it is sleek, attractive, well made and organized as I like a pack to be.

The inside of this backpack is quite spacious. I doesn't have all kinds of dividers and pockets which I believe makes it more spacious. There are just enough inside pockets and no more. I love everything about this backpack. It holds a lot without being overwhelmingly large. It's uncomplicated with one main compartment, one zippered pocket against your back and one zippered pocket in front. All the zippers use clever Pacsafe locking mechanisms that are easy to use once you understand them. The only feature that Pacsafe has not mastered is the side pockets for water bottles. They don't expand and they are not very deep. I think that's a small price to pay for peace of mind! I absolutely love this backpack!

I bought this bag from my trip to Asia and it worked great had no issues. Wish I bought this earlier

15l is Too small for a light two day trip. I should have researched more..35l maybe.Also what is not mentioned is that the straps have no shock strap. This quickly becomes important when it's jammed full of clothes, and during travel you will be taking it off and putting it back on.
