You can't go wrong with the The ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 420
The media could not be loaded. The ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 420 A-RGB is an outstanding water-cooling solution that has significantly improved my PC's thermal performance. The cooling power of this unit is remarkable, keeping my CPU temperatures impressively low even under heavy loads. The large 420mm radiator, combined with the powerful fans, provides excellent airflow, ensuring that my system stays cool and stable during demanding tasks. The A-RGB lighting adds a sleek, customizable touch to my build, making it not only a high-performing piece of hardware but also visually appealing. The lighting effects are vibrant and smooth, and they integrate well with the rest of my RGB setup.Installation was straightforward, and I appreciated the quality of the components, from the tubing to the fans. The included VRM fan control is a nice bonus, allowing for quiet operation when full power isn't needed.Overall, the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 420 A-RGB delivers exceptional cooling performance with the added flair of customizable lighting. It's an excellent choice for anyone looking to keep their system cool while adding some visual appeal to their build

They set the bar so high.... yet managed to improve on their previous model
I have had previous experience of using an Arctic Freezer II 420mm so my expectations were somewhat raised due its quality and capability.....They were meat, and so more.Take a look at my photos.Firstly......this is just about me I guess, but I am not a fan of their peculiar shaped box that contains the cooler. You try and get it back in if you need to store or return one, even with many photos taken as a guide. That is most certainly a challenge, lol.anyway......fitting this cooler to my Z60 motherboard, check compatibility of AC website, and mine was determined to be fine, was overall most easy. Just taking my time and following their excellent animated type guides that can be found on their website.I watched on my phone, whilst fitting the cooler in my PC, motherboard not removed but a piece of firm sponge placed under the rear of the motherboard to anticipate the removal of the latch mechanism for installing the contact frame.I preferred to fit the 420mm radiator in the top of my Meshify 2 XL case, after fitting the supplied contact frame, before fitting the block to the contact frame. For me that worked well.I decided to use individual controls for the radiator fans, pump and vrm fan - you can see the software that I use to control these fans in a photo that I have uploaded. When at idle or typical light loads the PC is very much silent in use. When playing games, depending on the load on the CPU, the additional ramping up of the fans and pump kinda equates the sound from the game, so nothing excessive. The GPU also ramps up (RTX 4080) its fans and so nothing excessive in terms of noise is noted.I run my 14700k wit ha negative offset of voltage of -0.075v and with that I can see temperatures around 15c at least under TDP on the hottest cores when running Cinebench R23. That is within a room with an ambient temperature of around 20c.I am very impressed with the cooling, build quality, ARGB aspect of the unit, and ease of installation. If I had to think of negatives, even with 450mm of pipe length it can seem a little of a stretch in my very large case. Then again compared to other AIO's these are considered to be long. The plug for the A-RGB should be labelled, it is blank.Be careful when fitting the radiator it is easy enough to catch one of the cables on the side of the fans as they will disconnect from each other, you might not notice. It is a pain to have to completely remove the radiator, this happened to me, due to the RGB lighting not working as the cable became disconnected. If they were latched in their connection then all would be well.If you hear any rattling wounds, during transport and storage etc these units will collect a little air around the pump area, then just give it a few days and it should resolve. I just gently rocked my case back and forth a few times, when it was fitted, and all is fine.Very much recommended and I do hope this review has helped you.

Cool and quiet, like Keanu Reeves
Installed in Be Quiet Shadow Base 800 DX, at the top of the case and set to extraction mode (the default). Installation was easy enough, just follow the steps on the website. I've not used any kind of cooling beyond basic fans and heatsinks before but it was a simple job getting it fitted. After the initial gurgle the first time it's fired up it's whisper quiet. I'm using it with a Core i5 13600k so it's not exactly being challenged, but I got it with future CPU upgrades in mind. The CPU temperature barely hits 30 currently. RGB can be controlled from the UEFI and it also plays nicely with Signal RGB. What I really wanted was a quiet system and this does the job thanks to the 140mm fans.

Overall good product
Big cooling improvement from my 360 but that was the point. A good product overall but do check case compatibility, this won't fit every case. Even those that claim to allow 420mm rads

A fantastic cooler, performing well and looking great.
I purchased the 420mm black version. I prefer to highlight the bad points first. With this, there are only two issues. The first issue is aesthetics. The CPU block has a really interesting looking design with great RGB. The illuminated fanblade design is not a fan, it is just a piece of translucent plastic, the actual fan is a regular black fan hidden beneath. This isn't a huge issue, but aesthetically the visuals of moving blades are more interesting than the fixed blade design. What you see in the images is static and what you will see in your PC.The second issue is the supplied 420mm fans. To begin with, these fans are very much for this cooler. The cables on them, both ARGB and PWM, are very short - less than 10cm. The second issue isn't so much an issue but something to note - they are 28mm thick 140mm fans. The majority of 140mm fans are 25mm thick, so replacing them also means replacing the screws. The replacement screws are a little inconvenient in size - I used 6-32 x 1-1/4 which seem perfect.Aside from that it performs exceptionally well. My bios settings are not perfect but I get stable all core boosting of a 5950X at 4.7GHZ sitting at roughly 70-75c package temp. Idle with pump and fans on low enough not to really notice is around 37-45, ambient is 18-21c. This is far better than my previous 360MM fractal prisma AIO.

Gargantua
Pure overkill for my current CPU, but ready for the future.Very easy to fit, extremely quiet, and my CPU hasn't been above 59c.The RGB wouldn't kick in on my asrock board but I think it was the connection from the cooler, it wouldn't seat fully.Piggybacked from a be-quiet RGB controller did the trick. Now it looks glorious. For the money it was a no brainer, hope it lasts.
