Soft, Easy to Use and Remove
As a person with chronic nosebleeds, I think I have tried every treated pad, plug, swab, powder, spray and gel on the market. I found this product to be as effective as any/all of the above, and it was soft, easy to fold for a fit, absorbent, and best of all, painless to remove. I will buy it again.

A little too special purpose
I got these because my partner has some pretty epic, chronic nosebleeds. But they are just a bit too special purpose to be easy to use. We just use a tissue, because it's what comes to hand when a nosebleed happens. So these might be fabulous, but they are probably a little too niche for anything but a hospital full of people with nosebleeds.

It’s ok
I got this for my 15 year old son (who gets chronic nosebleeds) for a trip to Disney. Everything came in the little zipper pouch that’s shown and it’s packed pretty full. The nasal tampons work ok (though they’re not great for a gusher of a nosebleed) it’s nice that they included alcohol wipes to easily clean up your face. Overall it worked ok.

Works better than expected.
We were experiencing frequent nose bleeds. We used these once and have not had one since (over a month ago).

Important if you are on "blood thinners".
I keep it on hand for emergencies although I always use a humidifier in winter and always use saline nasal spray, too.

Great idea - easy to carry
I recently added the Nose Bleed Stopper, a hemostatic gauze wound dressing designed specifically for nosebleeds, to my first aid arsenal. Packaged in a box of seven, these stoppers boast a small form factor that not only fits well but also enhances portability for those unexpected moments on the go.The standout ingredient in these stoppers is Calcium Alginate, a natural product derived from seaweed known for its ability to accelerate the clotting process. This material interacts with the blood to form a gel-like substance, effectively sealing the wound and facilitating a rapid cessation of bleeding. The inclusion of Calcium Alginate not only underscores the product's efficacy but also its commitment to utilizing biocompatible and safe components for emergency care. While I have thankfully not had the occasion to use them yet, their presence in my portable first aid kit provides a significant peace of mind. The very idea that I have something so specifically tailored to stop nosebleeds – a common enough occurrence that can strike at the least convenient of times – is reassuring.Given their thoughtful design, ease of use, and the benefits conferred by the inclusion of Calcium Alginate, these Nose Bleed Stoppers are a great addition to any first aid kit, especially for those prone to nosebleeds or for families wanting to be prepared for every eventuality. Their portability makes them an indispensable tool for immediate response to nosebleeds, ensuring that you're ready to tackle such emergencies whether at home or on the move.In sum, while my personal experience with their use is pending, these seem like a proactive measure for managing nosebleeds effectively. I like the preparedness in a small, easy-to-carry package, making them an invaluable component of first aid readiness.

Good For Any Minor Bleeding, Not Just Noses
I like that these stop bleeding gauze packages are separately wrapped and sterile. The Calcium Alginate swells up and absorbs the blood so there isn't a big mess and also helps the wound to stop bleeding. The ones in this package are shaped to fit into a nose in case of a nosebleed - that is so much better than trying to hold a unsterile tissue against the nostril! These can also be used for any cut - they will just need to be held against the wound until the bleeding stops. The package does warn that these are only for minor injuries and not a replacement for stitches or other treatment for a serious injury. Around here we get our share of injuries like scraped knees and I will definitely be using these to stop the bleeding for things like that. This is a great addition to my first aid kit. The package I receives has an expiration date two and a half years in the future.
