These mulethi sticks are fresh and have a strong, natural aroma. I use them for herbal tea and home remedies especially during winters for sore throat, and they work wonders. Great quality and value for money

I was so hopeful to use these more for medicinal benefits than flavoring. They lack the steeping flavor needed in tea and were not very palatable as a chew stick.

These pieces of licorice root come sealed in a resealable bag. The pieces are mostly a couple of inches long, just the right size to fit in a cup of boiling water. The flavor isn't very strong. It takes several pieces and a long brewing time to get any licorice flavor. I'm going to try grinding some up to see if that helps.

Quite nice licorice root product.You get a nice sized bag of dried licorice roots. Upon opening up the package, you immediately are aware of how fresh and flavorful this product is. If you like licorice, you will enjoy this.I takes a bit to steep out the flavors of these roots, I have found. A quick steep (3-5 minutes) is just not enough - it takes 10-15 minutes at a minimum. As long as you plan for that, it is not any issue.Not sure about chewing these roots, as that is not something I would want to do. But I have used this in a spiced cider with very good results, and have made a Caribbean Spice version of my standard Ginger Beer that turned out awesome. (For the Caribbean Spice Ginger Beer, it was brewed separately with other spices and added to the product after the secondary fermentation process, as I was not absolutely sure about any possible inhibitory effects of licorice root on fermentation yeasts)A very tasty product with many different applications. You will enjoy this.

These are 100% pure, with no additives and one ingredient Licorice sticks. It is made in India. Licorice sticks has many benefits: soothes sore throat & cough; aids digestion; boosts immunity; promotes healthy skin & hair, etc.. The stick tastes slightly sweet and earthy when I chew on it. It also makes a great cup of tea. Great choice if you are looking for good quality licorice sticks.

These are very good licorice root sticks. Perfect to put in beverages especially a hot tea (or even stews). You can grind them up to make a licorice powder. They taste very good, but a little strong to be eating or chewingas is but perfect for cooking applications. Reasonable price for a good product. I like that these are organic as well

Organic spree mulethi sticks- licorice root comes in a 5.3 oz resealable bag. This was my first time trying mulethi sticks , I boiled 2 sticks in a cup of water , for about 8 minutes then let sit for another 10. The flavor was good, a earthy, sweet flavor, that I liked. This is a product of India, with a good shelf life. The price at 15 is very high for this product.
