The best one!!!
I had previously purchased another one based on numerous positive reviews, but I returned it after discovering this one. The other one was difficult to use, and having detachable pieces is more practical. Very functional.

Awkward. Not for bigger legs. Weird to use.
Not sure what I was expecting. With the hinge in the middle, it's an awkward fit. Hard to run up and down a leg, neck or body part. Good concept.

Spinning rollers for massage; breaks down into smaller pieces to reach different areas.
I ordered this COSTWELL Massage Foam Roller,360° Deep Tissue Massager for Leg,Neck,Thighs,Back,Tennis and Golfer Elbow for my husband’s and my use.My husband’s neck, shoulders, and back muscles are frequently tight after a day spent at the computer. I’ve been giving him massages, but my hands aren’t always strong enough to release the tighter knots in his muscles. When I saw this massager, I thought it was worth trying. This massager is circular and made of plastic. The two halves are set into a metal spring at the center. Each half has a plastic handle on the outside of the semi circle, and sets of spinning rollers on the inside of the semi circle. Each half has four spinning rollers. You can also break this down into smaller pieces. If you don’t need the whole large massager, you can remove a smaller piece consisting of the handle and two spinning rollers. The sales page says the rollers are made of “thermo plastic rubber”. I’m not sure what exactly this is, but the rollers are spongy with some give.I like the convenience of the plastic handles, it is easier to hold this massager than to hold onto a massage ball. I used this on my husband’s back and shoulders. I found it easiest to break it into the small, two roller piece when giving him a massage. He said it felt nice, and was kind of relaxing.I used it myself as well. It’s convenient to use, and I don’t have to wait until I can catch my husband with some free time to get a massage. I have spinal issues (fusions, spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease) so I’m familiar with massage to loosen tight muscles. I did find this worked well in the large, semi circle form when working on my neck. The smaller pieces were good for my shoulders and lower back.Honestly, I think the most effective use I found for this was using it on my leg muscles at the end of a day when I had been on my feet too much. I don’t know if this is the best massager for deep tissue massage, but it does work very well on tired, tight muscles. I felt more relaxed after using this on my tight, tired legs after a long day.I was unsure how to rate this massager. It definitely does the job—it is a massager, and it can be used for self massage, or on another person. That being said, it’s not something that really made a huge difference for me or my husband. We’re starting to get a bit older, we have old injuries and aches and pains. We’ve tried a number of different products to relieve muscle tightness. This helped a bit.If I could give half stars, a three and a half would be about right from my POV. It does work, but it’s maybe a little more costly than similar products. I wasn’t thrilled with the included information pamphlet, which seemed to suggest this could be used for weight loss. Isn’t this a massager?Since there aren’t half star ratings, I went with four stars. I think it’s a good product, but I wish the massage elements were a bit stronger. My husband said my hands give a firmer massage than the rollers. I had hoped that would work the other way round. I do like how it breaks into smaller pieces, that is convenient. This also is small enough that you could pop it into a gym bag, or suitcase, which is nice for travel.Plastic massager with spinning rollers is a semi circle around a metal spring. It can be broken down into smaller pieces. Convenient and easy to use.

Versatile massager
This COSTWELL Massage Foam Roller is unique! I like the flexibility and easy movement of the connecting pin. As you roll it down your leg it conforms to the shape. You can use as much pressure--or as little--as you feel comfortable with as you squeeze and roll. The removable handles make two small rollers to work on targeted areas where the full massager is too much. I like using it on my neck. As a totally random side note, my dog was watching me use the roller and demanded his turn, which I complied with very gently. He now comes running if I even pick up the roller. I knew I'd have to fight off my husband for roller time, but not my dog! I'm very happy with this massager, which I requested primarily to help with night-time leg cramps, but I will be using it for so much more than that. I think it is a good design for a roller massager. I don't know about the claims for weight loss, that is not my purpose for using this but I wouldn't complain if it was a side benefit.

A Solid Addition to My Recovery Routine
Upon using the COSTWELL Massage Foam Roller, I found it to be a versatile tool that effectively targeted different muscle groups. The 360° deep massage roller feature allowed me to apply varying levels of pressure to specific points on my body, aiding in relieving muscle soreness and stiffness after workouts. The multifunctional design of this roller impressed me. It was easy to adjust and could be transformed into two flexible shoulder massager rollers, providing a comprehensive massage experience for my arms, hands, legs, and calves. The high durability of the materials used reassured me of its long-term use.One aspect that stood out to me was the portability of the foam roller. Its lightweight design made it convenient to carry in my backpack or luggage, ensuring that I could enjoy a deep tissue massage anywhere, whether at home or during travel.Overall, the COSTWELL Massage Foam Roller has become a valuable addition to my recovery routine. While it may not offer the same functionalities as electric massagers, its effectiveness in targeting muscle tightness and aiding in post-workout recovery makes it a worthwhile investment for anyone looking to enhance their fitness journey.

Cancer warning
California prop 65 cancer warning is concerning. I used to ignore these warnings, but lately I’ve been more conscientious of trying to avoid products with this warning as more and more people I know have gotten cancer. Best to minimize exposure to carcinogens when we can with alternative products available on the market. As far as the product itself, I like that I can roll my entire calf/ majority of my leg in one go vs the straight rod design. My legs are on the smaller side so when fully assembled, I can’t really roll my calves. Luckily the design allows me to remove one of the handles/ pieces so that I can squeeze the rollers closer together. You do have to be a little careful as you can pinch yourself with the rollers close to the hinge.

Kind of works
So I like that you can take it apart to use it in different ways. Kind of hard if you don’t fit well in the device, need to be perfect size to use it in the way it was designed. Seems sturdy though and I like how it feels.
