exactly what I was looking for
This arrived today and as usual for Casio, it came in a nice box and packaging. I bought it specifically for work so was not going for fancy looking. More for durability and something that won't fall off every few minutes. This looks like it fits the bill so far. When I took it out I did think it was going to be too small, like some of the reviews suggested. However, it seemed normal length when I put it on.The face is smaller than I imagined, for the style watch but is perfect for my likings. The instructions for setting the date and time etc were very easy to follow. Within a few minutes it was all ready to go.

Makes a great kids watch
I bought this for my young son due to the smaller wrist size & it has been an excellent choice. Clear, basic but reliable & functional & most importantly it fits. Great for the school run.

Casio watch
Casio is always a good watch but I would have liked to have had a little bit thicker strap.

Does the job really well
To use watch for time and stop watch when running it’s very clear and effective. Unfussy and very good value

Not bad
I have bought several ladies Casio watches over the years and had no hesitation in buying another one. That being said I was slightly disappointed with this one. Firstly the watch did not come in a box it arrived in a Casio pouch which you may want to take into account if buying as a gift. Compared to my other Casio ladies watches the strap doesn't appear as good quality and is shorter which did make me question if this was in fact a children's watch. Other than that the actual clock face is of good quality. The light is orange. Happy enough just hope the strap stands the test of time.

Great watch for the price
Love this watch - functions are easy to use, although I don’t use them as I got the watch purely on its looks.

Casio no longer a classic
Pros:•Excellent fit and size for a 9 year old child (reason for purchase) rather than an adult.•Illuminates well - even lights up through transparent side parts of casing which was ‘cool’ according to recipient•Nice strap material (the blue version), soft, not too plasticity, it won’t irritate the skin, hopefully (no BPA Free stickers though)Cons:• the graphic design/layout of watch is awful•PM indicator is TINY, very, very, very difficult to see•the circular segment thing is a pointless waste of space and distracting (but ‘cool’ if you are 9)•the stop watch layout is ridiculous, using the large central digits to show HOURS and MINUTES! with seconds being shown at the bottom in smaller digits and the 100th seconds shown all the way at the top in even smaller digits- its all over the place! Who even uses a stop watch to count HOURS!!!! certainly not a 9 year old• the dual time (DT mode) is a poor choice of function and confusing as it simultaneously shows the current time as small digits top right - this should have been a full ‘date’ mode showing the month and year clearly instead (which is something you set when adjusting the time but is not displayed anywhere once done, only used to calculate the day and date I guess)Finally, the battery. It says it has a 10 year battery BUT when I set the date on it after opening the box (NOT a gift box btw, just a small blue corrugated shipping box taped closed), its default showed the year as 2000... not sure how long it’s been on the shelf...Also, the instructions say NEVER open the casing but go on to recommend replacing the rubber seals every 3 years (as if!).As a ‘first digital watch’ for my son, I wanted a clean, clear, well made watch with a touch of retro thrown in, so naturally thought CASIO as mine was, in the before times long long ago.So far, the only really good features are it’s size, the soft strap, the light up effect and the fact that it looks like a ‘Thunderbirds Are Go’ prop. Weak sauce Casio, once a classic but now the Nokia of watches.

Sturdy first watch
I bought this for my little girl. Handy for setting alarms for when she's playing out or at a friend's house. Easy to use and reliable.
