The media could not be loaded. The forks are feeble so i made my own. The rest is fab, the sound effects are brilliant, I added a pile of coins at the back to act as a counterweight. I also blocked the output from the noise with blu tac as it was just too loud

The media could not be loaded. What a fabulous little toy! It works on carpet and on and off rugs and fair scoots along on wooden floors! The instructions are just what are on the side of the box. The batteries dont take long to charge off my laptop and you put one in and screw the plate back on (little screwdriver provided), put 2 AA batteries in the controller (not provided) - then press the key button to start the engine and off you go. There is a white knob thing with + and - on the bottom which I presume has something to do with adjusting the steering but I could be wrong and there is no mention of it on the box. The sound is quite loud and you can switch it off but its all part of the fun especially with the horn. There is a little lego man to make up. There are also lights that come on and if you add water to the reservoir (small pipette thing provided to do so) you can have it produce steam like an exhaust. The rise and fall is good (just make sure you have flattened the forks out after taking out of the box or you wont be able to pick up the provided pallet and boxes. I had mine standing upright on the pallet and they didnt fall off. The version I have is with the doesnt have the crane. The provided batteries plug in and initially I wasnt sure how you undid them from the charger or the forklift itself but they just pull apart.Fun item - only criticism is the lack of instructions.

The media could not be loaded. I wa sceptical that this would be any good, considering the small price tag at the time of review. Muchlh to my surprise, however, I'm actually really pleased with it.This says it's 1:24 scale. I'd actually say it'd slightly larger than that.Operation is really easy via the transmitter and it's really responsive, even with the rear wheel steering.The functions are good, particularly the lift and other functions, such as horn.The sound effects are, perhaps, a little loud. That's probably my only complaint though. You can easily turn them off via the one button.The instructions are poor; a few images on the back of the box. I figured it all out though.2 batteries are included. They seem to last well. They recharge via the included usb adapter.All the additional functions, such as the horn, really add value to this.There's also a Lego--style driver included. It seems good quality, but I won't be using it with it.Overall, this is a fun, scale Fork Lift Truck that will provide hours of entertainment. You get a mini palette and boxed included, but can try lifting anything.Definitely a fun recommendation by me.

Initial use was great, but after about 10mins of use, the forks will not lift the supplied pallet with crates on. Motor gears jump.Good sound and visual effects but let down by the lift motor.

Smoke feature stopped working pretty quick and struggles on carpet

The batteries don’t charge. The toy is utterly useless. A waste of money
