Purchase this for my handicap brother. His hand was at a 90° angle and is now getting better.. He did not complain and it seemed comfortable for him.

I ordered this for my wife. Her original one was kind of hard and very difficult to sleep in at night. This one is very awesome, especially for somebody who had a stroke. It’s able to stretch out your fingers softly without any feeling a cramps. The removable splinter was a bonus. And the best part about it it is washable. This is an awesome product for anyone who’s looking for a soft brace that’s light and easy to maintain.

We've only had this resting hand splint for three days but, boy are we glad we ordered it. Dad had a stroke a little over two months ago and now he is finally back home. Not only does the splint help keep his fingers stretched out (as opposed to curling into a fist formation), it also, as a result of the interior removeable steel insert, helps us support his wrist and lower forearm without hurting his arm or triggering as much pain upon moving dad around when we have to touch it or when doing certain therapies needed to help rebuild the lost nerve/neurological function on his effected side.Dad has also mentioned that his fingers are getting bumped into less, which means the pain doesn't get triggered as much in his fingers/hand/wrist.Having said that, the splint itself is a little difficult to get onto dad's hand due to the interior elastic sleeve. It is difficult in the sense that the elastic sleeve, even though it feels nice on dad's skin, is one-solid piece, which means it must be stretched wide enough by my hand in order to get dad's sensitive hand through without getting his fingers jammed or causing pain... but once his hand is inside and with the velcro straps adequately adjusted, he feels much supported with this splint. So far, we are happy with this find and will provide an update as we observe anything different.

Make sure to check which hand it is for; the photos display both hands even though it is not interchangable. Amazon made the return easy andquickly replaced with the correct one. It fits and works well.

Easy to use and very comfortable. The small is perfect for me, the doctor's office only had a large which was way to big. Very durable but the Velcro could be better, doesn't seem to stay very well. Kept my wrist and fingers immobile which is what the doctor wanted for my arthritis.

As far as functionality, it works exactly as needed. However, the design is flawed. I require both LT & RT wrists to rest at night. On the RT brace the zipper closes at the thumb. The zipper often come loose at night and I inadvertently hit the zipper against my face at night plus it “tings” during the night which also interrupts my sleep. This does not happen with the LT brace since the design is exactly the same making the zipper on the outside of the LT hand vs by the thumb. If the zipper were to be on the outside of the brace I would definitely rate it higher. It fits a little big but it stabilizes my hand/wrist as described. It looks bulky but other than the zipper I have no problems sleeping. LT & RT are not interchangeable.

Update, I bought a second one as a backup while the first one is being washed. After a few more nights the fabric has loosened so now much better for my thumb. Upgrading to 5 stars!I had tried a couple of other braces for my tendinitis, one was too big & clunky, & others didn’t cover my palm, let alone my fingers. This was a great fit, the palm support is well padded but supportive, and the lining protected my skin from abrasions from seams or Velcro. Super adjustable. After two days/nights I’m finally seeing some improvement. I know it will be a long healing period but I’ll take the progress!Only issue I have is the thumb opening. It holds my thumb out to the side, not in a true neutral position & I am noticing new pain there. I did start pulling my thumb into the palm support instead, hoping that will resolve it.
