smooth and shiny 1 side only, rough on dull side.
Yes it is 4 way stretch, not 2 way. The stretch is okay but not fantastic like elastic band or pure spandex. It will not allow see through during stretch for the most part, as it is nice and thick quality. My only complaint would be the dull side is rough feeling and will be uncomfortable if directly on the skin. Keep this in mind in design, so you fold over the shiny side to wrap around an elastic band or a layer of other material to keep a good shape for collar, etc....

Thick fabric, 4 way is a bit of a .. stretch
I really like the fabric , but I don't think it should be labelled 4 way stretch its more like 2x4. That being said its really thick and I enjoy working with this stretch fabric. However if you are looking for spandex type flex, this is not it. If you are looking for a semi flex that's thick, well, this is great working fabric.

Really more of a pink than a blush
Great fabric. Cut short by 2” and not straight. Oh well!Making dolls for my 4 granddaughters and using for skin. It was way too PINK so I soaked it in very strong hot coffee with salt for 12 hours. It took just enough brown color to work. Now it smells “Just like MiMi”. I used the wrong side of the fabric as it is very shiny. Good value vs going to a fabric store or other “doll fabrics”. It did not need a lining and had a good stretch.
