I begin with the on/off switch. There is no traditional switch. It is a "smart touch" switch. It is difficult to locate and not plainly visible. The instructions read "It is a little hard to find please pay attention." You need to check the light on the bottom to see if it is on or off. The charging port is on the bottom so you will need to lay it on its side or hang the end off the shelf to charge it. Mine is the simulated wood model. It looks nice but is clearly plastic looking. The electromagnet shoots the ball up the ramp into the bowl hard enough to crack the plastic. It still works but cracked after only a few minutes use. Also mine came with 10 balls. You will not be able to use more than one at a time. The electromagnet is not strong enough to shoot more than one at a time up the ramp. Kind of pricey for what you get. I would not purchase again.

Cool when it works but it’s not consistent. I even charged it up for several hours.
