Dr.Althea Marine Anti-Blemish Mask - 5pack

This sheet mask is very moisturizing for my sensitive and dehydrated skin. There is a lot of serum so it won't dry on your face, but you can always pour the contents onto your hand and pat them gently on top of the sheet. It's jampacked with wonderful ingredients to improve uneven skin texture, skin dullness and anti-ageing.It is gentle and very comfortable to wear. It also really helps to reduce redness and moisturize the skin.It feels really good on the skin and doesn't irritate me. Instantly boost my skin radiance while highly hydrating it.After using the mask my skin feels clean, fresh and soft. The shape fits my face well too. The material of the actual mask is very thin and it is quite hard to put on the face but I quite like that because the thinner material is great for better and faster absorption.

I love Korean skin care and sheet masks so I was super excited to try out this new-to-me brand. The masks come with a partial backing sheet to make it easier to handle/unfold them coming out of the packet, which is a nice touch. The sheet itself is well-soaked in essence, which has sea algae as a main ingredient. The eyes and mouth holes were sufficiently large to fit my face nicely without needing to be stretched out. After I’d taken it off and given my skin a couple minutes to absorb while I patted it in, my skin felt every so slightly tight (which is not uncommon for me), but not at all sticky or tacky. My experience is that most sheet masks, regardless of what they say they do, are mostly moisturizing. I didn’t notice any difference in the blemish-proneness of my skin after use, but overall think these are good masks. I will definitely use them again and recommend them!

These masks come in attractive packaging, and they are easy enough to use, though peeling off the backing paper can be a bit of a faff. I found the mask didn't have quite large enough eye holes, and that there was too much mask between the nose and the upper lip, so it didn't fit brilliantly for me. It mostly stayed in place, though the part above the lip did keep sliding down. After use, it was easy to dispose of, and the remaining serum rubbed easily into the skin.I tried these masks out at a time when my skin was starting to break out in spots, and although I found that the skin redness and irritation was slightly reduced after use, and my skin felt moisturised, the next day the spots were still there and several new ones had arrived. I would have expected more of an impressive reduction given that these are marketed as blemish masks and are quite expensive per use, so I don't think I would order them again.

I've been using sheet masks for years and find these to be good quality. I like that this encourages exfoliation but doesn't irritate my combination sensitive skin. The mask has generous amounts of serum and stayed moist for over 20 minutes, even though the instructions suggest using for 15 minutes. My skin felt soft and well hydrated after using the mask.

These face masks do exactly what you want them too!For the price, I had high hopes and they definitely live up to them. Easy to use and apply - don’t slide down your face either like other face masks! Leaves your skin feeling refreshed, moisturised and skin tone seems more even. Redness is reduced and skin looks healthier even after one use.Highly recommend as it’s the perfect self care treat
