Great soldering iron
I have used many different soldering irons in my professional line of work but this one is by far the best. With a large gas chamber and robust manufacturing I doubt it will let you down. It ignites first time every time and has a great heat range. The case is insulated so putting a hot soldering iron away is no longer an issue for me.The only downside is that it needs a few more solder tips, specially larger ones!

Poor quality
First use the tip got stuck on and snapped off when trying to replace as it fell to bits. Not worth the money very cheap quality product

Generally excellent …
I should have bought one of these years ago! This gas powered iron is quick to heat up and very portable. For so long I did those little soldering jobs with a mains iron, trailing an extension lead around behind me … but no more. The only slight criticism is the standard ‘bit’ supplied is too small and pointed for general use, so I invested in a set of larger chisel shaped bits for better heat transfer - Shame this wasn’t included, or even an option with original purchase.

Very good soldering iron but heavy on gas
I got this as a replacement for my solderPro 70. The 70 is a great soldering iron and very small but I was having trouble getting good quality tips. So I decided to upgrade to the 120 solderPro, fantastic bit of kit good quality and gets up to temp quick and maintains the heat.My only niggle with it is the aluminium body is extremely cold in winter and with the gas running through it stays cold. The other problem I have is the rate it goes through gas, its 3-4 times more thirsty than my 70 version. Again these are only my niggles about the upgrade. Still a fantastic soldering iron and does exactly what a soldering iron is supposed to do
