Summit SUP-065 Premium Multi Fit Roof Bars, Black Steel, Set of 2

Brought these to fit a Renault grand scenic, easy to fit. We have a large roof box which fitted fine. Make sure to use the rubber seal provided for underneath the bars after fitting or it makes a horrible whistling noise as air passes through.

I found the instructions really confusing to understand. I had to get my friend to help in the end. They managed to put it together in less than an hour and once it’s together it easily fits to the car. It fitted my fiat 500 L 2013 perfectly. Comes with the right screws but you’ll need an Allen key. It looked fine and was very strong and sturdy. I used a roof bag to go ontop not a roof box. This worked well with the bars. But when I had nothing on it, I did notice a drag while driving. I also noticed a squeal sound. Then I realised we forgot to put the rubber dampers inside the poles. Even after putting them in, it still squeaked a lot while driving because of air getting in. I’ve taken them down now when not in use as they’re quite easy to dismantle and mantle. All in all I’m glad with the purchase, it did the job I needed it for.

There is one grommet missing t fit this last partsent picture of the part I have to fit please could you send part to meMrAJ. Taylor

Easy to fix it, reliable for money but noisy while driving. They are make you tired in long distance.

Item arrived in good time as replacement for being let down by another company but after opening the sealed box I found that there was no end caps fitted on any of the fittings as shown in the picture ,now have not got time to send it back as off on holiday but will have to sort it out when I come back ,this has left me a little stressed due to having the bolts open to tampering and possible wind noise but will find out travelling down to Devon. The rest of the bars fitted my Captur perfectly .I contacted summit and they sent me the end cap's as a one off if not I would of had to return the item. The bars performed perfectly and so we had a good holiday

Looks ok but I had several missing parts.

My grandson fitted this onto car roof ,said it was easy. its very stable.
