My teenage son needed a shirt for a pirate costume for a float he was on and this worked perfectly. It laundered very well and I pulled it out of the dryer and hung it up immediately and it did not need to be ironed. I would say this would also be appropriate for a medieval type of costume as well. Also, the color was accurate (burgundy) and the fit was true to size. Very good quality shirt and not flimsy material. Would recommend.

Second one I’ve bought,first was a large and it was slightly too big,this one is medium and a perfect fit,I wear them all the time not just Halloween,well worth the money,soft material that’s actually pretty thick definitely have to roll the sleeves up for summer.

Shirt fit well and looks good, however for the 1800-1850 era I was portraying I've been told by some its not a period correct pattern. I wore it anyways as I dont much care for thread counters. I removed the cloth laces, and replaced it with brown leather shoelace.

This lace up shirt is handsome and useable not only for medieval or renaissance events, but for any nice occasion, too. The shirt label says it's 100% cotton, which is what was wanted. The fabric is good quality with a slight texture, not thin, but not thick either.Like most clothing made in China the sizing is tricky. Due to other reviews I decided to size up two sizes (from M to XL). I should have only sized up one size (to L). The shirt has been machine washed on hot and dried in a hot dryer twice, but is still slightly too roomy.

Bought this to complete an outfit for a midevil party. Loved the comfort size and quality.

Very comfortable, and fit to my size perfectly. Wore it to the Ren Fair and will be wearing again next year.

Completed my Renaissance fair outfit will hold onto it for future use, the material is cotton after using it. I did wash it and hang dry it just to prevent it from fading
